Of course Manning and I would be considered nut jobs by most people, but I think we may only be a few generations ahead of our time.

The greatest potential threat to the identity of blackness will not come from black conservatives, like Manning, or racially ambiguous politically unclassifiable outliers such as myself, but instead from increasing numbers of mainstream liberal blacks, who at some point during this century will likely begin to view ghetto blacks and the pathology they represent as no longer politically useful and economically beneficial.

At about this same time they will also realize that they, as individuals, can retain all the perquisites and legal protections that come with minority status, and keep right on exploiting white guilt, without necessarily identifying themselves as black and subjecting themselves and their offspring to the ravages of black culture.

Why bother fighting a culture war when you can simply switch cultures?
