No I'm not planning on offing myself, but hot damn I was listening to the radio tonight coming from an appointment and this song came on and I asked myself, "Hey self, where the fuck COULD you run too". And I had not one real answer because the .gov is growing, these cunts are everywhere, to fucking with pig farms, to taking away passports. These are beyond fucked up times.

So my conclusion is that there's nowhere to run, but stand your ground. The antidote to this virus is good men and women like us standing up. Each of us has our point that we can't be pushed any further and the biggest fear for me is that I'm on my death bed and wishing I did something.

Right now, I'm not doing anything of "REAL" value. Any yes, what is the definition of "REAL" value. My definition of "REAL" value is something that changes things in a positive direction.

Could always go to Doug Casey's version of Galt's Gulch in Argentina (http://www.dollarvigilante.com/galtsgulch). Then again you need like a $1 Million to do that or something. Not accessible to poor people like us.

Go somewhere that they don't give a fuck about... at least not yet...
You might run into a few people of like mind.

Of course, you might have to give up some of the "culture", "career opportunities" and "convenience" of the urban kingdom - but I say let 'em have it. When this bitch crashes, I want NOTHING to do with the major population centers!

Disclaimer: I'm just a dumb hick... I've only lived in major metropolitan centers for about... THREE FOURTHS of my life, so I don't really know what I'm talking about! ;D

Just imagine the Galt's Gulchs you don't hear or know about.

You could also do what Dmitry Orlov does and just live on a sail boat. You can live freely in many ways, it just takes effort and research. It means you can't sit around on your computer at home all day and complain about the world, like we all do.

I'm starting to get back to the basics. That's what makes sense to me. As quoted in this speech, "life is the 6 inches in front of your face."

As long as we can keep inching forward towards our goals, that's what matters.

That!

What was one of Ponce's favorite sayings? A drop at a time does a bucket fill?

General... set goals. NEVER lose sight of them, no matter how slow or difficult it gets. I'm nowhere NEAR as close to being as ready as I want, but I've got the basics covered - because I followed the advice I just gave. You only live once... make it count!

Well, I live on a sailboat and I basically did nothing but sit around all day.;D

I spent the day self reflecting. I look around me, and see a lot of changes I need to make. I see a lot of work on this old boat I need to do. I've pondered..why am I still in this shithole city.

This thread actually came at a poetic time for me.

There's distractions all around us. Things going on in this world, to take our focus away from what is important to us. We can set goals, but it is what's right in front of us, the present time, that's important. Staying focused on those goals, and not letting those distractions, take away our spirit from achieving them.

GoD I'm not sure how much time you spend outside of LA, or Cali, but things are much brighter elsewhere in the US. Sure the Fed Gov has it's tentacles everywhere, but I imagine the caliber of people you encounter on a daily basis are much better in other parts of the country which can mean a lot for your sanity.

I will make a thread on this topic, but IMO our people have been running for thousands of years, there has always been a new place to escape to and forge your destiny, but what has thousands of years of running gotten us? Just delayed the inevitable, IMO if you do not face the evil your descendants will be forced to.
