I worked for a place owned by Armenians once upon a time (pizza place, none the less. Their pizza sucked, btw)

I'll tell you, they still hold that grudge and Turks are not very welcome in their presence. Not saying I blame 'em. One of the guys had had some family killed in the genocide. They also are pretty pissed that theirs was never "recognized" like the jews were.

They also see themselves very differently than most people do. They dont like Americans very much either, in fact out of all the Armenians I talked to while working there, everyone had the same plan: Come to America, get as many credit cards as possible, buy everything you ever wanted, cash all the CC's out and move back to Armenia when your decade of fun was over. They all have a thing for Russian women. Almost all of them had Russian girlfriends, but they werent allowed to marry non Armenians, so they would just bang the Russians on the side and when they moved home, would get an Armenian wife.


Anyways, Im not bashing them, just relating my only relevent experience with Armenians.

I shop at an Armenian market walking distance from my apt. Get my hair done by an Armenian hairdresser, have an Armenian mechanic, eat at my Armenian friend's restaurant. My best friend at university was Armenian. They are all Americans, the salt of the earth.

I grew up with two Armenian best friends. I've dated Armenian women. They have a very, very long history of which they are very proud. They understand the beast system surprisingly well - and can be seen regularly ripping it off. However in personal dealings they almost always honor their word and are quite honest.
