in one job interview i had, part of the "getting to know you" part contained the admission by the interviewer, "I belong to a UFO abduction support group".

the fact that the guy was very knowledgeable network engineer with a high level security clearance, left me treating the subject with more credibility than i had in the past. like, "maybe there is a there there".
