When I first saw that movie, I thought that the sunglasses were symbolic of a state of awareness that was induced by some psychedelic drugs, like cannabis, or psilocybin mushrooms, or ayahuasca, or even LSD. Props that free your mind to see things in an alternative reality--one that rings more true than the reality you call your daily life. With those sunglasses, you can see through all the propaganda. You can see who the members of secret societies are, who has sold out to them, you can see their agenda, you can see what kind of people you are dealing with, and you can see how people have been conditioned to think that agenda is normal, and to not question it. The sunglasses were the precursors to the 'red pill' in Matrix. Your first step toward freedom--rewiring your mind to see what you are not supposed to see.
