Despite my jadedness and disgust toward the chicanery known as the American political process, I can't wait to see him tonight at UCSD. Go Ron!!

I'm hoping to maybe see him in Tampa in August.

Just realized that the last politician I have ever "seen" was Gerald Ford when I was a kid. It was at an indoor stadium-like venue, and my dad and I were way up near the rafters.
If I'm remembering correctly, there was less security then for seeing a U.S. president than there is now just to get through the danged airport. ::)

Thanks; I don't know if I'll be close enough to get decent pictures. I hope so!

I saw King Bush II, and his big headed (literally his head is like 5 times the size of GWB) brother Jeb back in 04. Chanted 4 more years like a drone, but in my defense I was 17.

I am ashamed of it, but what can you do being raised in a family of neo cons? I don't beat myself up for it, just thankful I saw the light.

WOW, I'll have to get a whole new imaginary picture of LuckyStrike to see when I read his posts. I always imagined him a lot older than 25. And I figured he must look like Patton.
