If you want a dramatic intro, this went down a couple weeks ago: Host Fetcho took a call from a whiney joo, apparently a regular/known troll, went on awhile before Fetcho hung up on him, minutes later Fetcho takes a call from fellow RBN/Oracle host Bob Tuskin, who scolds him for being a little unfair to the whiney joo caller- they go round & round about it for like 4 segments, they get into a "joosh-semantics game" debate over saying "jooz" vs "all jooz", and Fetcho finally "ends the call". Tuskin is a joo, guessing early/mid 20s yo..

Thanks for the "commerical-free" versions. I usually catch them live on my laptop, but the downside to internet radio is the constant loop of the same sponsors or fundraising.

Deanna Spingola proves you don't need a good radio voice to have a show. Her squeeky voice is sometimes too much. John Stadtmiller takes such long pauses that I think I've lost the connection!

I'll have to catch the Tuskin/Fetcho exchange. That would be funny! I figured Bob to be in his early to mid 30's--trying to look cool in his pic?

Orion Talk Radio Says No To Hate Speech

Orion Talk Radio extends its remorse over unexpected and regretful incidents of anti-Semitic hate speech that went out over our station air waves and wrongly conveyed that all people of Jewish ancestry and religion are evil or bad. To be fair, commenting about Zionism and the Israeli government are one thing, but to claim that all Jews are bad is an extreme far right viewpoint that has no place in the media, and most especially not on Orion Talk Radio.

We fully support the right to free speech, but we also understand that free speech does not sanction or support the right to hate speech, that which denigrates an entire ethnic culture, or singles out those of a specific color or religious affiliation. A precious, hallowed right such as the first amendment was never intended to be used for hate speech, nor to target specific groups by ethnicity or color.

Let us be public and perfectly clear on this divisive issue: Orion Talk Radio does not condone ideology such as this and has already taken internal steps to remedy the issue, implementing policy within to ensure that such an incident doesn't happen again, by setting procedures in place that allow for immediate dismissal upon violation of said policy.

As a sign of our commitment and sensitivity to this issue, a zero tolerance policy has been enacted. At Orion Talk Radio, we refuse to follow the dark path of divisive hateful speech. That is weird. I have been listening to Down the Rabbit Hole on Orion for about the last month. Recently, the host, Popeye, outed himself as born from a jew. Not practicing now. He appears down with the whole scheme. Calls out jews from time to time. Definitely calls out Izzy. I have been wondering when he would get the ax.

A Pod Cast setup in a box! Or you can create your own...



During the last delcroix Improv, a suggestion was mooted regards the possibility of anyone having their own pod-casts put up at mami's shit for everyone to listen to.

Since then, some "Anons" have requested information as how to go about doing this.

So, at risk of sounding like someone trying to teach grannies how to do unmentionable things with eggs - here is *my* guide to putting up your efforts at Mami's. Hope it enables some of you out there to join us getting the truths out to those who care to listen.


Determine what you'll need to Podcast.

Hardware necessary to get started include:
A Good Microphone - Headphones combination. Either USB connected,or using any of the Mixing Decks available out there from the likes of Maplins or Radio Shack.Mixing Desks are not compulsory of course-as you can use software with built in mixing. Or just use something basic like VLC. But Pod-casting doesn't have to cost a lot to set up.

A computer with reasonable memory,speed and storage space for your recordings.

A comfortable and Quiet room to record in. Nothing worse than spending Hrs creating the ultimate "Stream Of Conciousness",if all anyone is going to hear is the loud background sounds of an air conditioner or similar white noise generator.

A "Thick Skin" to enable you to deal with the Fall-Out from your broadcast going online! You can't be a Shrinking Violet, or mentally Unstable if you wish to start down this road. It demands concentration & stamina to create your pod-cast. It's NOT easy, but it IS rewarding if you succeed in getting your ideas & thoughts out there clearly for others to comment on.

A General Idea of what subjects you want to talk about. Unless you're involved in an "Improv", it makes sense to at least create a list of Talking Points first before beginning to record your thoughts.
Alternatively, if you have the memory of a fish like most of us, Write down anything pertinent:facts & figures you might wish to quote. Or passages of text you might wish to read out loud.

Never just "Read Along" without saying that's what you're doing first. Not unless you wish to be derided for doing so by your mami-peers. There's a lot of smart regulars & Anons who can & will use anything they can to pick holes in your presentation.
Sources you used to create your pod should be acknowledged - unless you wish to be accused of plagiarism.


What software will you use?
There are free software packages like Audacity (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cpBQhImJqDc) & EZ Audio recorder. Check out sites like www.majorgeeks.com (http://www.majorgeeks.com/) for freeware & Shareware software you don't have to pay for.

There are also tiered versions of software, like Sony Acid (music studio is only $50 whereas Acid Pro is $200). Some mixers and microphones come with free software to use. I use Audacity for editing my finished Pod after recording it using SAM Broadcaster Software (Not Freeware!) But i'm sure if you experiment with the many programs & hardware out there, you'll discover a set-up that works well for you.


IMPORTANT!
If you’re going to make a pod-cast that features music created by someone else, you might be responsible for paying royalties for the right to broadcast that music.

It doesn't seem that this has been completely worked out yet - but be aware that Jew-run licensing companies which track royalty payments are trying to create a workable plan. In the mean time, you would be advised to use "podcast safe" music. i.e: Nothing commercial or likely to get you in trouble with the record Companies.

PodOmatic offers a basic and pro option. Basic provides easy tools, 500MB of storage and 15GB of bandwidth per month. Pro has more features for about $10/month. Find out more at the PodOmatic website.

Libsyn.com (http://www.libsyn.com/)
Libsyn (Liberated Syndication) offers several levels of podcast syndication including storage space and an archive plan that promises to hold all your podcasts, unmetered bandwidth, and the ability to use your own domain, and more.

WildVoice Studio (http://www.wildvoice.com/)
For those who are more inclined to create a website by registering their own domain and created audio files on their own terms, here's a piece of software you might want to look at. WildVoice Studio is a free Windows application that enables a professional-quality recording complete with theme music, special effects and prerecorded clips.

mirPod (http://www.mirpod.com/mini-player-mp3-blog.php)
mirPod is a webpage which allows you to create code to embed a podcast on your own website. This is a point and click operation which requires no technical knowledge.

The way we upload our little efforts online is to use certain free cyber-lockers like Kiwi 6 or any other service that allows "Hot-Linking". This is important to enable the player on mami's to work properly. or you can just ask any of the mami Admins how to upload your cast after you create it.

I hope this little article helps the undecided amongst you to take the plunge & start creating your own Pod-Casts. looking forward to seeing more of you up there at mami's shit.

One of Mami's admins "zapopper" put up this little 25 min podcast last night; same theme as above but emphasis on doing it on the cheap. Interesting he comments that the little independent shows they occasionally post at Mami's where the host(s) just shoot the shit are more popular than the regularly scheduled ones!

On balance I really like JF (his blog here (http://www.john-friend.net/)); some of his original articles are outstanding, and he's got a very polite/amicable personality in his podcasts. Knits to pick about him though: he's a dogmatic believer in "no planes at WTC" (says it was video-fakery/CGI) which I view as an un/counterproductive theory to promote even if it ends up being true which I don't believe it is. And more recently he's been getting more drawn into "Christian Identity" (aka CI, believe "Whites are the true jooz"...).

The guy's 49yo, american from Jersey, but been teaching English in S.Korea for past 8 years. He ex-pat'ed for political reasons most here at GSUS can relate to; he's been awake to 911 and been down the rabbit hole for years, but didn't know quite what to do... and was dismayed when his 'friends' weren't very interested in hearing about it. His spiel is pretty much like my story, including taking sojourns abroad with an eye towards ex-pat'ing, and his story about finding Mami's & his fave podcast hosts.

In another independent podcast, a recommendation was made to go back and listen to this Rense hour from 8/5 with a regular monthly guest, terry arnold.

I'm mostly through it now, interesting to hear rense lose it (IMHO)-- keeps interrupting Terry, and ranting. Terry keeps telling him to settle down, quit shouting/swearing at him. Rense keeps replying "I'm not shouting AT you, I'm shouting PAST you..." -- a meaningless semantic 'distinction' IMO (in fact I don't know what the heck it means!). Then Rense hangs up on Terry about 1/2 way though, and calmly monologues through the end. Rense lost it in this hour, not Terry, AFAIC.

The hot segment is the 2nd beginning @ 12:35, then rense hangs up on Terry at the top of the 3rd segment.

I used to visit WRH a lot, but for no apparent reason I weaned off the site. Actually, one thing I didn't like was Rivero/WRH being quite dogmatic about the notion that an airliner really did fly into the pentagon. I listened to just a handful of Rivero's RBN shows, when Mami's used to post them. But Rivero had a bit of a preachy style, often cutting off callers, and I didn't really enjoy the show. Mami's eventually stopped posting comm-free versions of the show.

It's a shame to have to close this thread promoting Mami's, and cease linking to them anymore in the future; coz they have a half dozen or so mods there, as divided amongst themselves on issues (like S.Hoax) as anywhere else, and zap's prolly drunk/high/etc atm & as usual.

But still... so, this thread is now closed. If I see a podcast @ mami's (through anon proxy...) which is worth sharing with GSUS, I'll link straight to the MP3 parked on their kiwi servers (a separate entity), but won't link to mami's any further. Zap's "selective censoring" comments is unacceptable.
