Ron Paul Statement on Campaign Going Forward (http://www.ronpaul2012.com/2012/05/14/ron-paul-statement-on-campaign-going-forward/)

“We will continue to take leadership positions, win delegates, and carry a strong message to the Republican National Convention that Liberty is the way of the future.” – Ron Paul

LAKE JACKSON, Texas – 2012 Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul issued the following statement to supporters and the general public concerning the continuation of his historic bid for the GOP nomination.

The statement tees up forthcoming information the campaign will release concerning its fruitful delegate-attainment strategy still occurring at delegate-selection events such as state conventions ahead of the Republican National Convention in Tampa.

Below please find comments from Congressman Paul:

“As I reflect on our 2012 Presidential campaign, I am humbled by the supporters who have worked so hard and sacrificed so much. And I am so proud of what we have accomplished. We will not stop until we have restored what once made America the greatest country in human history.

“This campaign fought hard and won electoral success that the talking heads and pundits never thought possible. But, this campaign is also about more than just the 2012 election. It has been part of a quest I began 40 years ago and that so many have joined. It is about the campaign for Liberty, which has taken a tremendous leap forward in this election and will continue to grow stronger in the future until we finally win.

“Our campaign will continue to work in the state convention process. We will continue to take leadership positions, win delegates, and carry a strong message to the Republican National Convention that Liberty is the way of the future.

“Moving forward, however, we will no longer spend resources campaigning in primaries in states that have not yet voted. Doing so with any hope of success would take many tens of millions of dollars we simply do not have. I encourage all supporters of Liberty to make sure you get to the polls and make your voices heard, particularly in the local, state, and Congressional elections, where so many defenders of Freedom are fighting and need your support.

“I hope all supporters of Liberty will remain deeply involved – become delegates, win office, and take leadership positions. I will be right there with you. In the coming days, my campaign leadership will lay out to you our delegate strategy and what you can do to help, so please stay tuned.

For Liberty,
Ron Paul.”

I think I'll wait till the end of the day before speculating too much. Drudge's headline is "PAUL OUT". So either they will release another statement clarifying that he's not out and just not spending money, or not say anything and let the doubt build, confirming he really is out.

I wonder if Paul will wise up and start questioning the constitutional issues of both Obama and Romney regarding their natural born citizen status. Seems like an opportune time to spring it.

I hope (TM) you are right. I still intend to vote for him.

Maybe...

1. Romney/Paul ticket
2. Romney w/ Paul Sec. Treasury

Doesn't sit well with me. I don't think Paul would go for it anyway.

Maybe Paul super-pacs will advertise the right issues?

My understanding is that Paul due to limited financial resources to begin with is just going to concentrate on the delegates and only the delegates. No point in trying to outspend a multimillionaire with billionaire backers in the states beauty contest.

I'm writing from California, where we just had a campaign meeting last night.
Let me assure everyone that we are marching ahead full steam here in California, and I am hearing the same things from my friends in Texas. The support from the national campaign is still in place and is not winding down.
We've had a very successful push over the last few weeks to register new Republican voters for Ron Paul.
We WILL take several districts here and more importantly, we have created a network of liberty minded Republicans at the local and state level that WILL change the direction of the GOP for the foreseeable future.
We have Liberty Republicans running for office all over the state and many will win.
For Mitt Romney, becoming president is the end point. For Ron Paul, getting elected was always just a means to a greater goal of putting the government back under the control of the people and restoring the principles that made us great to begin with.
Those of us in the trenches at the local level are fighting for the principles and ideas laid out by Ron Paul. This is the good fight and in this respect we are seeing unbridled success. Would this be easier if Dr. Paul was in the White House? Surely it would but in any case this movement is not going to stop under any circumstances.
The delegate strategy is moving ahead full steam, believe me the campaign knows what it is doing, and I am confident we will have a brokered convention in Tampa. I already booked my flight.
Freedom is not free or easy. Don't give up now keep up the fight for the ideas even as we support the man

TRENDS: US Election 2012 (https://rt.com/trends/us-election-2012/)

Congressman Ron Paul has announced that he will no longer be using resources to campaign in primary states, instead focusing all of his efforts on delegate-selection events as he vows to continue to vie for GOP nomination for presidential candidate.
Rep. Paul (R-Texas) issued a statement on his official website on Monday announcing that he will immediately begin to concentrate on collecting delegates at state conventions in lieu of traditional campaigning in states where he will have to compete in GOP presidential primaries.
"Our campaign will continue to work in the state convention process. We will continue to take leadership positions, win delegates, and carry a strong message to the Republican National Convention that liberty is the way of the future," reads the statement.
"Moving forward, however, we will no longer spend resources campaigning in primaries in states that have not yet voted. Doing so with any hope of success would take many tens of millions of dollars we simply do not have.”
Following the bowing out of Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich in recent weeks, Rep. Paul has become the most likely opponent to Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney in terms of taking the GOP nomination. Both men are vying for the Republican Party’s nod so that they can challenge incumbent President Barack Obama during this November’s election.
In Monday’s statement, Paul suggests that by continuing to accumulate delegates, he stands to give Romney a run for his money come the RNC later this summer in Tampa, Florida.
Paul says he will continue to try to accumulate delegates, a strategy that has been considered unorthodox by many but has so far proved to be mostly successful.
“I hope all supporters of Liberty will remain deeply involved – become delegates, win office, and take leadership positions.I will be right there with you.In the coming days, my campaign leadership will lay out to you our delegate strategy and what you can do to help, so please stay tuned,” says the congressman.
CNN reports that, as of April 1, the Ron Paul for President campaign has roughly $1.8 million in the bank—quite an accomplishing statistic given that former House Speaker Newt Gingrich suspended his campaign while $4.5 million in debt.
Last month Paul’s campaign manager, Jesse Benton, told reporters, "I am not going to try to deceive you, and say that Romney doesn't have some advantages…But until he has 1,144 delegates, we are going to press on with our campaign."

Yep, similar reports are all over the place, it's top story news on my homepage. I have NEVER come across a pro RP article in the MSM, and very few that even mention him. Now the lines read "Ron Paul Quits Campaign." etc. etc. and are all over.

The articles state that he is simply not spending money in the remaining 11 primary states which would cost ten of millions. He is rather focusing consolidating his delegate count.

Got this in an email:

Thank you for volunteering and supporting Congressman Ron Paul for President!

Many of you have sacrificed your money, your homes (meeting and
events), resources and the most precious gift you have…your time.
Many of us have all been at this in California for since 2007 and we thank you.

If you have not already heard that The Ron Paul 2012 Campaign is not spending any money in Primaries at this time.
this does not mean he is dropping out of the race. Ron Paul is still on the ballot and the delegate process is still up for grabs in California.
As always and in all campaigns it is up to you the volunteers to make it happen.

I repeat he is not dropping out of the race I got this straight from Jesse Benton.

The funds are just not there for news and TV ads but we are still going door to door and phoning the voters here in
California and elsewhere in the country and we still have plenty of materials to go around.

It has been by your efforts that we have the delegates going to Florida to vote for the only man who can take our country back for the brink.

In the last 20 days before the June 5th primary we will continue to push to take our political process. So tell all your friends

He is still in the race and your vote and their efforts count.

I will also release a list of names of liberty candidates throughout the state that are supporters of liberty.

He did drop out. Nowhere in the statement does it say that he is still vying for the presidency or the GOP nomination. Instead he is looking back at the 2012 Presidential race (now history), urges people to focus on getting elected locally, state and congress. He is out! Just as it looked like he had a good shot at taking the nomination from Romney, through his delegate strategy. Just a couple of days after breakfast with Bernanke... If he wanted to stay in the race, why make an announcement like this at all? Just don't spend any more money!

Ron isn't going anywhere except to Tampa.

For weeks no matter what happened with our victories in the state conventions the media has been silent and if anything the blackout has gotten blacker. What hasn't been known is that our opposition at these conventions has gotten dirty, cheating, stuffing ballot boxes, rule changes and ignoring of the rules. They've seen us coming and have prepared, to the point that we now have to have a lawyer and a parliementarian present to keep the cheaters in line.

The mitty/RNC folks were coming out in force and out of the woodwork to stop us. With this little announcement that RP is "quitting", how on guard to ya think they'll be? The only way for them to combat this is for them to in turn say "Ron Paul is still a threat!", countering the prevailing meme, which they do not want to do.

I'll also reiterate a point, RP cannot be perceived as leading thousands of rowdy delegates/supporters to Tampa but if they lead him there it's kind of out of his hands. He knows he created a gigantic snowball that cannot and will not be stopped, even if he wanted to he won't and can't. (free marketplace :)

Ok, I think I've figured this out. This is something of an admission that he's an unlikely contender for the nomination, but he will continue to pursue delegates that will allow as much influence as possible at the convention. I think he wants to make it clear to his supporters that this is a practical and achievable goal. If he were to officially bow out, it would make it a lot harder to pursue delegates.

In a sense, he is handing over the entire campaign to his grass roots supporters, and asking them to carry the ball as far as they can. If by some miracle they could pull off the nomination, then more power to them. It's a fresh approach, empowering the people who have so enthusiastically supported him. Let's hope the message continues to spread.

I hate speculation, but I have two positions on this.

1 - They know they've got the troops on the ground and spending money is stupid because they're going to get the delegates
2 - Ron Paul is a fraud

I'm sticking with number 1, but I'm going to wait 48 hours before I put the RP magnetic stickers back on the diesel, and the only reason I took them off is I washed it. :)

You prep for peace of mind. If you stop living just to prep, then you've lost your peace of mind.

Re:*** *** * *** Paul Campaign Convention Strategy

Every day, I see firsthand how humbled and encouraged Dr. Paul is to have the enthusiastic support of so many who are committed to revitalizing our country.

Let me be very clear.* Dr. Paul is NOT dropping out or suspending his campaign.

As Dr. Paul has previously stated, he is in this race all the way to the Republican National Convention in Tampa this August.

And he is deeply grateful for every resource he has been entrusted with to run an historic campaign that continues to defy all expectations.

Looking ahead, our campaign must honor that trust by maximizing our resources to ensure the greatest possible impact at the National Convention.

So while our campaign is no longer investing in the remaining primary states, we will continue to run strong programs at District and State Conventions to win more delegates and alternate delegates to the National Convention.

To this end, our campaign has several positive and realistic goals:

1)*** Having recently WON Maine, we believe we can win several more states.
2)*** We will win party leadership positions at both the state and national levels.
3)*** We will continue to grow our already substantial total of delegates.

We will head to Tampa with a solid group of delegates.* Several hundred will be bound to Dr. Paul, and several hundred more, although bound to Governor Romney or other candidates, will be Ron Paul supporters.

Unfortunately, barring something very unforeseen, our delegate total will not be strong enough to win the nomination.* Governor Romney is now within 200 delegates of securing the party’s nod.* However, our delegates can still make a major impact at the National Convention and beyond.

All delegates will be able to vote on party rules and allow us to shape the process for future liberty candidates.

We are in an excellent position to make sure the Republican Party adds solid liberty issues to the GOP Platform, which our delegates will be directly positioned to approve.* Our campaign is presently working to get several items up for consideration, including monetary policy reform, prohibitions on indefinite detention, and Internet freedom.

Finally, by sending a large, respectful, and professional delegation to Tampa, we will show the party and the country that not only is our movement growing and here to stay, but that the future belongs to us.
*
Dr. Paul will begin this new phase of the campaign this Friday by speaking and holding several events at the Minnesota State Convention.* He has also recently accepted an invitation to speak at the Texas Convention, and we are busy scheduling appearances around other State Conventions later this month and into June.

As Dr. Paul stated in his message yesterday, this fight is NOT over.* We will continue fighting and expanding, and “we will not stop until we have restored what once made America the greatest country in human history.”

But for Dr. Paul’s efforts in the remaining State Conventions to be successful, and to ensure we get as many Ron Paul delegates to Tampa as we can, he needs you to continue standing with him.

Along those lines, as you probably already know, the grassroots are holding a Money Bomb on Thursday, May 17.* Any money raised from that Money Bomb will go toward winning delegates and finalizing our plans for Tampa.

As those plans for the National Convention come together, we will make sure all of our delegates, whether bound or unbound, get the information and aid they need.

Your support on May 17 will also help us reach more Americans with the solutions we know can restore our nation.* Each person we add to our cause strengthens our movement for the critical work that awaits us beyond Tampa.

Dr. Paul, John Tate, myself, and the entire campaign staff know what incredible sacrifices have been made by each of our supporters.

Thank you for all of your hard work and your dedication to liberty.* Together, we will champion Ron Paul and his message in Tampa, and we will lay the groundwork for future victories

Just read that in my email.

Somehow something does not add up here. A few days ago it was clear that most delegates are not even counted let alone committed to Romney. RP meets with Bernanke and all of a sudden we hear the big switcheroo the day after. Now RP is cowering, patting his good puppies on the head as he loads us into the kennel to be euthanized.

This sucks balls.

I want my fvcking frns back.

This does not fit in the letter, it's like someone added the paragraph into existing:

^ No man, this just don't fit. If you read the letter paying attention to it's meaning then see that, it is too far out of context.

Can anyone call RP and confirm either way? I just don't trust the moles that have infiltrated his campaign.

Cebu,

I'm with you brother, I have no idea what to make of all of this, but four more years of Obongo or that shit head Romney will not bod well for us serfs.

Might be time to pack the fuck up and leave, but where do you go? Every place is a mess, and if you could leave would they let you leave with YOUR assets?

What's really sad is that 99% of the people on this planet have absolutely no idea what's coming, and to what extent, us here at GSUS can't even answer that question. Yeah, we do have an idea, but to what extent we don't know we can only speculate.

My gut is telling me that we REALLY are very close to the shit hitting the fan.

Me too General, I'm in a bad spot for a SHTF event. I'll feel better once I'm out of here.

If you need to leave, what's stopping anyone from jumping the border into Mexico with their assets? From there, catching a flight to anywhere in the world.

General, it sounds like you are in a position such that any move will improve your situation. Leaving the country shouldn't even be on your radar scope. You just need to move at least 100 miles in any direction.

My gut is telling me that we REALLY are very close to the shit hitting the fan.

I'm kinda nervous right now.

I think there's at least 15 months to make preparatory moves. Even then, it's not clear how abruptly things will change. TPTB have shown amazing capability and resources to strings thing out to a long grind rather than allow a flash crisis to occur. Regardless, you have a huge advantage in that you are already aware. That puts you ahead of game.

New email this one has my name, seems to be from the same computer and host. No mention of losing to Obamney:

http://paracom.paramountcommunication.com/cimages/9e1a03df3a024e863ece9f4018b8c898/RP-Email-Header.jpg

Dear XXXX,

From the very beginning, my campaign for the White House has been about REAL change and true reform.

It’s been about changing the Republican Party – and more importantly, changing the direction of our country.

It’s been about renewing respect for the founding principles of limited constitutional government, free markets, and sound money.

XXXX, this has never been just a campaign. This is a R3VOLUTION – and so far, it’s been a very successful one.

And for that, I have wonderful supporters like you to thank.

But our job isn't over yet. We still have some important work to do.

To help me make as much of an impact in Tampa - and beyond - as possible, my grassroots supporters are holding a "Rise for Liberty" Money Bomb (http://paracom.paramountcommunication.com/ct/8666247:12017585985:m:1:340129849:E8FF07B04F5F0756 F84661E5870F8B7C:r) on May 17.

This is likely to be the last Money Bomb of my campaign, so I would truly appreciate your contribution.

Already, thanks to the efforts of good folks like you, my supporters and other liberty-minded folks are now in positions of power within the Republican Party in Alaska, Nevada, Iowa, and elsewhere.

Tens of thousands of liberty-minded young people are now active in politics and working feverishly for a better tomorrow for our country.

As much as some in power may not like it, these young people are not going anywhere.

And liberty candidates are filing to run for office all across the nation at seemingly every level of government.

Thanks to the hard work and dedication of folks like you, we are the future of the Republican Party.

But there are many State Conventions set to take place soon throughout the country.

What happens in each one could have MASSIVE ramifications for years to come.

For example, the Minnesota Republican Convention is this weekend.

Iowa, Louisiana, Missouri, and Washington will all soon follow.

Combined with what we’ve already accomplished, all of these conventions will help determine just how much of an impact you and I can make at the Republican National Convention in August.

They will determine our influence on the direction of the Republican Party, including the platform and the rules, which – as many of my supporters have learned – will be absolutely critical to the success of future pro-liberty candidates.

But for my efforts in the remaining State Conventions to be successful, I need you to continue standing with me.

By maximizing the number of delegates we take to the Republican National Convention, you and I can send a loud-and-clear message to the Republican Party and the national media that our R3VOLUTION is here to stay!

So I hope I can count on you to make your most generous contribution to the May 17 Rise for Liberty Money Bomb (http://paracom.paramountcommunication.com/ct/8666247:12017585985:m:1:340129849:E8FF07B04F5F0756 F84661E5870F8B7C:r).

Your contribution will go directly toward winning as many delegates as possible at the remaining State Conventions.

Memorandum

To: Supporters, Interested Parties

From: Jesse Benton, Chief Strategist

Date: May 15, 2012

Re: Paul Campaign Convention Strategy

Every day, I see firsthand how humbled and encouraged Dr. Paul is to have the enthusiastic support of so many who are committed to revitalizing our country.

Let me be very clear. Dr.

1) Having recently WON Maine, we believe we can win several more states.
2) We will win party leadership positions at both the state and national levels.
3) We will continue to grow our already substantial total of delegates.

We will head to Tampa with a solid group of delegates. Several hundred will be bound to Dr. Paul, and several hundred more, although bound to Governor Romney or other candidates, will be Ron Paul supporters.

Unfortunately, barring something very unforeseen, our delegate total will not be strong enough to win the nomination. Governor Romney is now within 200 delegates of securing the party’s nod. However, our delegates can still make a major impact at the National Convention and beyond.

All delegates will be able to vote on party rules and allow us to shape the process for future liberty candidates.

We are in an excellent position to make sure the Republican Party adds solid liberty issues to the GOP Platform, which our delegates will be directly positioned to approve. Our campaign is presently working to get several items up for consideration, including monetary policy reform, prohibitions on indefinite detention, and Internet freedom.

Finally, by sending a large, respectful, and professional delegation to Tampa, we will show the party and the country that not only is our movement growing and here to stay, blongs to us.

Dr. Paul will begin this new phase of the campaign this Friday by speaking and holding several events at the Minnesota State Convention. He has also recently accepted an invitation to speak at the Texas Convention, and we are busy scheduling appearances around other State Conventions later this month and into June.

As Dr. Paul stated in his message yesterday, this fight is NOT over. We will continue fighting and expanding, and “we will not stop until we have restored what once made America the greatest country in human history.”

But for Dr. Paul’s efforts in the remaining State Conventions to be successful, and to ensure we get as many Ron Paul delegates to Tampa as we can, he needs you to continue standing with him.

Along those lines, as you probably already know, the grassroots are holding a Money Bomb on Thursday, May 17. Any money raised from that Money Bomb will go toward winning delegates and finalizing our plans for Tampa.

As those plans for the National Convention come together, we will make sure all of our delegates, whether bound or unbound, get the information and aid they need.

Your support on May 17 will also help us reach more Americans with the solutions we know can restore our nation. Each person we add to our cause strengthens our movement for the critical work that awaits us beyond Tampa.

Dr. Paul, John Tate, myself, and the entire campaign staff know what incredible sacrifices have been made by each of our supporters.

Thank you for all of your hard work and your dedication to liberty. Together, we will champion Ron Paul and his message in Tampa, and we will lay the groundwork for future victories.

From Yahoo News:

Ron Paul: Nomination is out of reach, but campaign continues (http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/ticket/ron-paul-nomination-reach-continues-campaign-163359712.html)

"...But campaign manager Jesse Benton clearly stated that the hopes of Paul winning the Republican presidential nomination are officially over.
"We recognize that Gov. [Mitt] Romney has what is very likely to be an insurmountable delegate lead," Benton told reporters on a conference call Tuesday. "And we acknowledge that we're very, very unlikely to be able to block that nomination."

The campaign followed a delegate strategy that would have put it in a "good position" to influence the outcome, should there be a brokered convention, said Benton. But "unfortunately, other candidates were not able to maintain their strength..."

I thought Benton was Chief Strategist or something.

I got an email from the Ron Paul 2012 Campaign this morning asking for donations on an upcoming MoneyBomb....

From the very beginning, my campaign for the White House has been about REAL change and true reform.

It’s been about changing the Republican Party – and more importantly, changing the direction of our country.

It’s been about renewing respect for the founding principles of limited constitutional government, free markets, and sound money.

this has never been just a campaign. This is a R3VOLUTION – and so far, it’s been a very successful one.

And for that, I have wonderful supporters like you to thank.

But our job isn't over yet. We still have some important work to do.

To help me make as much of an impact in Tampa - and beyond - as possible, my grassroots supporters are holding a "Rise for Liberty" Money Bomb (http://paracom.paramountcommunication.com/ct/8666247:12017163089:m:1:261757981:390C82B1D8C56F7C 5E1F895CEFC043AF:r) on May 17.

So I hope I can count on you to make your most generous contribution to the May 17 Rise for Liberty Money Bomb (http://paracom.paramountcommunication.com/ct/8666247:12017163089:m:1:261757981:390C82B1D8C56F7C 5E1F895CEFC043AF:r).

Your contribution will go directly toward winning as many delegates as possible at the remaining State Conventions.

I truly believe you and I are the future. And I know we cannot be stopped!

Our work over the next few months will not only determine the level of our success in August, but it will be absolutely essential to ensuring we keep making history beyond Tampa.

So which is it? That is the question of the day. Ron Paul had better decide, and let us all know soon.

I have my write in ballot. Not sure what to do. Because of our stupid "top two candidate" rule, my vote for Paul may effectively go to Romney if Paul drops out (or if Romney wins). If Paul goes independent, he may not be put on the California ballot. His only real chance is to win the California popular election. Otherwise he will have to be a write in candidate (not sure if write-ins will be counted in the general election). What a mess.

JohnQPublic

I wrote the following to ronpaul2012.com, contact form (maybe Benton owns the site!):

Is Ron Paul in this thing to win or not?

Because of our California top two law, I am not sure if any vote for Paul will mean anything. He may not end up on the General ballot unless he wins the popular vote (difficult even were he trying).

Who is Jesse Benton? Does he still represent Ron Paul?

Someone had better clarify what is happening QUICKLY. You are losing a lot of people with the recent wishy-washy statements coming from Benton. Many of us wonder if he is sabotaging the campaign.

Ron Paul absolutely should stay in the race, or should have stayed in the race, at least until every state in the Union has had their primary. if he has to cut campaign appearances, so be it.

the people that would vote for him in the later primaries deserved that chance.

Ron Paul needs to tell people exactly what the story is. maybe he has and i missed it ?

i don't buy the MSM version of events. they can not be trusted. i want to hear the news from Ron Paul.

"“This campaign fought hard and won electoral success that the talking heads and pundits never thought possible. But, this campaign is also about more than just the 2012 election. It has been part of a quest I began 40 years ago and that so many have joined. It is about the campaign for Liberty, which has taken a tremendous leap forward in this election and will continue to grow stronger in the future until we finally win."

http://government.brevardtimes.com/2012/05/ron-paul-has-not-suspended-his-campaign.html

"campaign for Liberty" - that means giving us a chance to vote for Ron Paul in the November election. whether it's as the Repub. nominee or as a third party vote.

This does not fit in the letter, it's like someone added the paragraph into existing:

Unfortunately, barring something very unforeseen, our delegate total will not be strong enough to win the nomination.* Governor Romney is now within 200 delegates of securing the party’s nod.* However, our delegates can still make a major impact at the National Convention and beyond.

^ No man, this just don't fit. If you read the letter paying attention to it's meaning then see that, it is too far out of context.

Can anyone call RP and confirm either way? I just don't trust the moles that have infiltrated his campaign.

I just read the whole thing and it does not fit. He starts off optimistic and says that RP is gonna take the fight to them, then says that there is no way to win. Then there is this:

"And he is deeply grateful for every resource he has been entrusted with to run an historic campaign that continues to defy all expectations."

An historic campaign? Starting a sentence with and even though it would be grammatically correct to leave it out. Simple grammatical mistakes are a sure sign of a troll.

Dear Liberty Activist,

Just moments ago, at the Minnesota State Convention, one of “our own” - Kurt Bills - won the support of the Minnesota Republican Party in his bid for the U.S. Senate!

That’s truly great news.

But it means our work is just beginning!

So won’t you please act right now to make sure Kurt’s campaign hits the ground running by making a generous contribution to his campaign (http://paracom.paramountcommunication.com/ct/8694951:12058723986:m:1:234073335:80DE97E6DB6389FA 1D18B28B3D05A91A:r)?

I hope you will.

With your help, I believe Kurt can take on and DEFEAT incumbent Democrat Senator Amy Klobuchar.

And I believe his win at the Minnesota GOP convention proves our R3VOLUTION is just getting started!

You see, Kurt is truly one of our own.

In fact, as a high school economics teacher, Kurt actually used my book, End the Fed, in the classroom!

As the Republican nominee, Kurt can take on Amy Klobuchar in ways no one else can because Kurt:

*** Opposes the unconstitutional Patriot Act and the dreaded SOPA legislation, which threatens to virtually shut down the internet;

*** Supports a common-sense foreign policy that puts America’s security first – instead of wasting American lives and tax dollars on utopian nation-building schemes or policing the world;

*** Will fight to audit and finally END the out-of-control Federal Reserve, which is destroying the purchasing power of our dollar and the middle class;

*** Supports constitutionally limited government, fiscal responsibility, and free markets.

So please make the most generous contribution you can afford to Kurt’s campaign immediately.

Kurt’s race will not be an easy one.

His liberal Democrat opponent is part of the Big Government, big spending status quo in Washington.

That means she’s going to have George Soros and the Big Labor bosses dumping millions of dollars into her campaign coffers to try to keep their gravy train rolling in Washington.

You and I must help stop them by making sure Kurt has the funds to fight back.

So please, dig deep and help another patriot by donating (http://paracom.paramountcommunication.com/ct/8694951:12058723986:m:1:234073335:80DE97E6DB6389FA 1D18B28B3D05A91A:r) to Kurt’s campaign right away.

If elected to the U.S. Senate, Kurt will join my son Rand in leading the fight for individual liberty, free markets, sound money, and constitutional government in Washington.

So please keep our liberty movement going full speed ahead by helping Kurt Bills make it to Washington.

P.S. My good friend, and champion of individual liberty – Kurt Bills – just won the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate in Minnesota!

This proves what you and I have known all along – the R3VOLUTION is alive and well.

So please, dig deep and help another patriot by donating to Kurt’s campaign right away (http://paracom.paramountcommunication.com/ct/8694951:12058723986:m:1:234073335:80DE97E6DB6389FA 1D18B28B3D05A91A:r).

any technically savvy jew knows how easy it is to penetrate every other computer, I am sure they could use a help of a few jew-hackers to get in and fake the emails. I wouldn't doubt in a second that they will do it.

QUESTION ANYTHING ABNORMAL.

heck, they send out mass mailings i.e. broadcast their IP and network. I am sure they are not the brightest computer guys in the world , so I bet 10:1 that it is a hacked machine.
Ok... So I guess they keep Ron Paul and his entire campaign staff hostage somewhere with hands tied behind their backs, gagged! So that they can't respond to these faked e-mails.

Ron Paul dropped out when he could have made a difference.

I just looked up this "Top Two" law. Says it doesn't apply to presidential primaries:

The new [Top Two] system does not apply to presidential candidates or party central committee offices. These offices are still elected using the closed system. That means, in general, if you want to vote for a presidential candidate in a primary contest, you must be from the same party.

However, California introduced a "modified-closed" system in 2000 that loosened the restrictions a little. Parties may, at their discretion, open their primaries to voters who have not stated a party preference (now called "no party preference" voters). The Democratic and American Independent parties indicated they would do so for the June 5 primary.

JQP, you said you had your "write-in ballot". Isn't Ron Paul on the Republican ballot? Did you mean absentee ballot?

Did you mean absentee ballot?

It is a mail-in ballot. In CA now you can request this as your main method of voting, so it is not just for absentee anymore.

One time something occurs it can be written off as happenstance.

The second time it occurs it is no longer coincidence but deliberate.

When RP ran the first time it gave birth to the Tea Party....only to see it eventually be headed by Sarah Palin (kissengers private Pet)

The Million dollar fiat questions for me are: What will the new orginization be called after RP Steps down and which necon will eventually come to represent it?

One could say Ron has earned the right to his speech and position. Rand a politician's son, is someone I'm watching in anticipation of disappointment. All part and parcel in the political arena. Regardless of either outcome the result is the same. The struggle for Freedom and Liberty will continue. C'est la vie

Good discussion on Truth Jihad Radio re RP and the delegate game, & 3rd party possibility, with guest Rolf Lindgren ("Ron Paul expert"), and also the first hour guest participates with a skeptical view of RP's ability to reform the repug party- so they get into a strategy discussion.

First hour's good too, discussion of the "Cultural Marxism" which has been undermining the US/West for decades.

First hour: James Jaeger is the director of several hard-hitting dissident films (http://www.moviepubs.net/dvd/) including Fiat Empire, Spoiler: How a Third Political Party Could Win, Original Intent: How the Democratic and Republican Parties Are Destroying the American Dream, and Cultural Marxism: The Corruption of America.

Second hour guests: 9/11 truth activist Adam Syed and Ron Paul expert Rolf Lindgren. Adam Syed reports the latest on "Cosmos," the alleged truther Webster Tarpley famously called out as an infiltrator and wrecker. Two years ago, Syed proved that "Cosmos" lied in claiming to be a 9/11 family member. Now Syed is back with more dirt on "Cosmos," who has gone from viciously attacking me, Webster Tarpley (http://www.tarpley.net/), Pilots for 9/11 Truth (http://www.pilotsfor911truth.org/), Citizen Investigation Team (http://www.citizeninvestigationteam.com/), and David Ray Griffin (http://www.davidraygriffin.com/)...to bashing Steven Jones, Niels Harrit, and other proponents of evidence that nanothermite was used in the demolition of the three World Trade Center skyscrapers (http://www.opednews.com/Quicklink/Why-the-Harrit-Nano-thermi-by-Michael-Fullerton-090814-310.html#startcomments).

Regarding such "9/11 truthers" as "Cosmos": If it operates under a false name and spends most of its time bashing real people...well, let's just say it quacks like a duck.

In the final half-hour, Rolf Lindgren argues that Ron Paul could win the Republican nomination; James Jaeger phones in to argue that the major parties are a waste of time, and that we should put our energy into building a third party.

I didn't see any confirmation in any of the communications from the Ron Paul camp, that he is still running for president. Instead they speak about the presidential campaign in past tense, focusing on reforming the republican party getting elected to anything but the president... I am not in any Ron Paul dropped out camp. I am just telling what I see with my eyes...

I think RP has agreed to the great compromise a MittenRand ticket. Bernanke showed him the Federal Reserve version of the Kennedy family documentary, and told him to back down, or else... In return Rand gets the vice Presidency, gold standard $10.000 to one ounce of gold (thus RP's comment "he now believes in the gold standard"). Reductions in wars abroad. Bernanke understands that the US will fall of the cliff, and they will loose their power with it, if the US doesn't get fiscally balanced, and to do that it is essential to stop the military campaigns for Israel. They keep Iran contained with sanctions...

I just don't see it unfolding that way. Not to say though that there weren't some very powerful revelations spoken by Bernanke but I don't think Rand is in the mix, that in itself would destroy RP's legacy. I can see BB telling RP to back off, you're not gonna win this fight but... the system will be crashing soon and you can be called upon to help the country out when it really needs/wants you or we'll just destroy an entire city in your name. Purely hypothetical.

i wish it were so. but it involves a lot of Hope.

we had a President born in Hope, Arkansas. that didn't turn out so well. Clinton re-formatted the financial laws, collaborating with Phil Gramm, to enable the Looting that kicked into high gear in when Bush/ Cheney took office.

we have a pResident who talks about the Audacity of Hope. no comment necessary.

at this point, i'd rather be without hope.

Well I don't think Rand Paul would be a good vice president, he has showned himself to be quite status quo in many matters and more of a politician than an idealist. He is not Ron Paul, but Mittens would get most of the RonPaulites to vote for him if Rand Paul is on the ticket... And they have grown important in the republican party! My bet is on a MittenRand ticket!

Mitty knows the RP vote is toast to him, for the most part anyway. He'll go with Rubio IMO or maybe Christie? Mitty will be so pissed off at the RP'ers come at Tampa he'll not offer shit, the convention is gonna be a royal mess, bank it.

What's your bet? :)
