It seems like it is not moving natural for the last few hours. Normally it has an ebb and flow feeling to it. But today it seems like it is just gradually going down very slowly. Any ideas?:|~

JP Morgue may be hamstrung by their credit derivative problems associated with the so-far-announced $2 Billion loss.

also a lot of speculators have dropped out of the market.

there was a minor raid at 10 AM Eastern, but only dropping 20 cents for silver and a small percentage for gold.

the larger markets have a lot of fear in them. i suspect we are close to the time that Rothschild referred to when he made the comment about buying when there is "blood in the streets".

after a few months of that, the Fed will formally announce a QE3-equivalent, to "calm the markets" (all the while they are printing money in the back room.)

i wonder if part of the motivation of the market manipulators is to beat down gold & silver preparatory to an official announcement of QE-whatever.

or maybe Blythe just forgot to take her Metamucil. who knows.

No it is not the actual price, nor that it is going down I find weird. It is the way it is going down the last hours. It seems like it is just slowly going down. Normally on a down day you would see first a gradually increasing fall until it almost goes vertical followed by a recovery around 1/3-1/2 of the fall, another fall with a recovery, some zig-zaging, and then a slow recovery... Today it seems like the market just calmly going down. Maybe it is dying? Or maybe as Gundriller speculated, that JPM trading is frozen, and the rest of the participants are not enough to move the market with oompf!
