Just a couple of things.

1 - To get the dogs off the "assailant" the dogs is being picked up off the ground with a prong collar on its neck and being "flanked". When a trained dog is told to OUT he OUTS, this cop is using pain to have the dog release, he has no control over the dog. Grant you, we'll use that with untrained dogs, either a flank or a prong collar because their drive is high, but to do it in a demonstration using both is pathetic.

2 - When the dog is in the down position, the dog attacks without either a command, or provocation. He does it on its own, again, no control.

3 - Thirdly, the sheep with absolutely no idea what they're watching are just like WOW.

I've make a call into them to see what their training looks like.

General, I've been a part of K9 training, on the receiving end (guy getting attacked).

I was not impressed with this video. The dogs I worked with were much better trained...ie, when the dog was tossing me about, one simple command, and the dog stopped. Instantly. This video did not have that sense of control, from the dog owners, imo.

Exactly, but I live here. And these are the dogs they've got? Nothing against the dog, but without control people get hurt for no reason. This kinda crap scares me. Not to mention the lawsuits, or the person that fights back kills the dog and then is tried for murder against a "Peace" Officer.

I don't blame you. You know a lot more about dogs than I do. All I know, is those police dogs I worked with gained my respect, 100%.

They were strong enough to take you down, easily, on command. Yet, were completely friendly when 'at ease'. Those were great dogs.
