This is going to have to stop. Have to BE stopped...
"Police say Antowann Davis, 30, walked into the Target on Marsh Lane around 9:15 p.m. Thursday and took a butcher knife out of its packaging in the kitchen department.
Martha Jones, 29, said she was browsing inside the store when Davis walked past her and shoved the knife into her lower back..."

Of course this is not a racial hate crime but just a random act of violence.
White folk better wake up and understand they are being played by the controllers.

Agreed. And I don't mean to derail the thread, but in the bible it is says "Turn the other cheek", and "An eye for an eye". So what which is it?

This is why you must read and understand the WHOLE bible. There are times and places for different instructions. You must compare scripture with scripture.
Here is an example. Let's say I am giving you directions to a restaurant. Here they are:
Start at the intersection of Main St & Parker St going north on Main.
Take your next right.
Continue on the road until you see a flashing yellow light.
Turn left.
Veer to the right and enter the next driveway.
The bible is a long set of directions. What if we left out some of my directions above?
Or- what if you decided not to hear some of them? You are lost and call me. I ask what you did. You say you went north on Main St and went left at the yellow flashing light and then entered the next driveway. And then you blame me for having bad directions that don't work.
The bible is the set of directions for all people who will hear. It is supernaturally complex to fit all occasions and complement the working of God's Spirit. Those who won't hear will be easily led astray by unscrupulous people.

Turn the other cheek = Christ
An eye for an eye = The Law (superceded by Christ)

I appreciate your response, but this is my position.

Was the victim white? If so, sure sounds like a hate crime to me. If a white guy stabbed some random black woman it would be all over the news as a hate crime.
The picture of the guy looks like he's on pcp, or something. Heck, I was at a mostly black grocery store about an hour ago, this could have happened to me. Some random guy just walks by and stabs you, unreal.

Fashionable Bulletproof Vests.
i wonder if a bullet-proof vest would stop a knife ? or would it take chain-mail, like shark-divers wear ?

they can be stylish too -

a little chainmail will stop - or at least slow down - a crazed Chimpout'er with a knife.
which would give the attackee time to recover and use further self-defense. like, a Glock or a Pyrex casserole dish.

The guy is only being charged with aggravated assault.... should be attempted murder also in my opinion.

I was thinking the same thing. If it was a white dude doing the stabbing, it would be attempted murder, add in the hate crime, and looking at life.
gunDriller, perhaps I should start wearing one of those. I actually have a bullet proof vest however, but I think it's a crime to actually wear it. I upgraded, at the time, and the one I've got will stop a .44 mag round. Pretty much any handgun.
I wonder if it's going to be safer surfing with sharks in the future, rather than going to the damn store.

Seeing how he's black and the victim white, I'm surprised they didn't charge him with "Inappropriate Tickling".

Wearing a vest and you are not LEO or Military is a Class E Felony in most parts
Just saying.

In Florida, it's ONLY a crime to wear a BPV in the commission of "certain" crimes, (OR IF you're a convicted Felon) I don't understand how a locale could outlaw wearing a BPV for legitimate reasons when you can buy them practically anywhere, even Amazon

Figures. This to me is just plain crazy, how wearing a bullet proof vest could be a felony. A vest is harmless, it's not going to hurt anyone. It's like saying wearing steal toed boots is a felony, or wearing a hard hat is a felony.
Wearing a hard hat to the grocery store because you are worried about getting thumped in the skull, that's OK, however wear a bullet proof vest because you are worried about getting shot, that is not OK and you will go to jail. Logically, this makes no sense.

hence the need to create fashionable bullet proof and knife proof vests. so that the Judeo-Fascist Police State, it just looks like a ski vest or hoodie or something.
of course, such a vest does not make you un-breakable.
even the guy in the shark suit - if the shark chomps down on him, it will be like being in the jaws of a large organic vise.
but i think the logical responses to urban violence - bullet-proof vests, bullet-proof glass on cars & home windows, & MOVING - well, that an opportunity for Commerce.

Cops have a harder time shooting and killing you if you wear a vest.... that's what it is really about.... the ability of "law enforcement" to shoot/kill whoever they deem deserving. Someone walking down the street wearing a bulletproof vest scares them I guess.

I actually think you are right about this. There no other reason that makes sense.
I wonder if it has to do with Hollywood bank robbery, north hollywood shootout years ago. That incident changed a lot of police practices actually. The police were outgunned, they actually had to borrow rifles from a gun shop to get into the fight. The robbers had a lot of body armor.
