I agree with mamboni, and you too Awoke. The thanks system, over the years, shows people who are the most respected and valued members here. It's like a badge of honor to have a high thanks count to post ratio, and I'm upset over losing mine too. I had over 1600 thanks, poof all gone! It makes me feel weary to have to start all over.

They are installing the security patch right now. Thanks has been disabled. When VBulletin comes out with a security patch this fast after a major upgrade, you better install it. It probably means a glaring security hole exists. As soon as aI got notice of the patch (this morning), I downloaded it and started a case with the host to install it. I'm tired of us getting hacked ! O:[##]

Why is nobody discussing the matter of JQP repeatedly mentioning that the board has been hacked?

I looked into the matter and it appears the "thanks" feature itself is considered a "hack" of the VB software.

What I am looking to clarify is this: Does JQP mean that there has been a malicious intrusion against board servers, or is he just referencing the way that the "thanks" feature is installed?

He said the board got hacked in like 5 different threads. Thanks in advance for the clarification.
