One tank... or thirty, doesn't make you any braver. It only takes one to run over you, then you're just as dead.

See how the tanks have veered off their original strait path? They were trying to avoid him but he would not allow them to proceed.

Looks like he was packing a rather large lunch guess he knew they would whisk him away.

You never really heard a lot about him since then. Perhaps if he would have had one of those Chinese AK's he could have made more of a statement.

SO when it's that time do you go armed or unarmed i know what i will be packing and it won't be my lunch.

The tank commanders appear to be a bit dumb. What was to stop the second tank in the column to bypass his blockade by going around him--then he'd would only be stopping a single tank. If it were American tanks, that's what they would have done. What were they doing, playing Follow the Leader? His bravery was matched by the idiocy of the stronger hand. Maybe they couldn't believe just one guy would do that.

Military are considered prized for there capacity to follow instructions and not to think on their own.

A weakness. Remember it.

I recommend the documentary Tank Man.

The story on the survival of this iconic footage is amazing in and of itself. As to what became of Tank Man, well, watch the documentary (it is murky).

Braver than anyone I've even known.

If you think this man was brave than you never heard of pips priller, the bravest man in recent history

As brave as a man may have to be, to fly a plane loaded with armaments and munitions over a warzone, I still think it would take more courage to stand in front of an entire army of tanks with nothing but your clothes on your back.

No offence intended to Pips. Just saying.

I wonder if someone as brave as tank man will be at the Tampa Convention come August to stop Mittens. Haha.
