Pretty gross when they take a scoop of water out and set it on the table for everyone to look at. All thost chunks of plasitc flaoting around, and the water itself is dark and oily looking.

Why is it so dire and important to so many that humans survive?
We as humans are programmed to destroy ourselves and we will succeed...just like we are suppose to. The name of the game is called greed!
The good news is, some form of life will survive after we destroy ourselves.
