Well that was, ummmm, I guess what a "multicultural" 4th of July is all about.

Thank goodness I don't live anywhere near the "hood". Bad enough I have to listen to idiot caucasion tourists every 4th of july shooting off fireworks.

That was hilarious! Honestly though I thought it was white trash until I heard the "get tha water nigga!" LOL!

It was reported in the news yesterday, that the company that does the show will do next years show for 'free'! New meaning to the saying 'Short and sweet"!

That's what happens when all the fireworks in the whole show go off at the exact same time. :) Yup, that's an epic fail. Really it's pretty sad.

I got to work one of our firework shows for the first time here on the 4th. It was exciting being so close to the fireworks. You have to wear ear plugs it's so loud, and all around you burning stuff comes down, you've got to really pay attention to your safety. The show I was helping with, we had a firework go off in one of the tubes. It blew the tube apart and knocked 2 full racks of tubes about 3 feet. It dented several of them in the process. These tubes are tough, 1/4 inch steel maybe, and heavy. Sadly the firework explosion also destroyed the grand finale. The grand finale included 8 big 10" fireworks. Only 3 of them fired. These shows are not perfect. The crews that set them up are kind of insane adrenalin junkies, but they are interesting to talk to. Mostly young guys with some older vietnam vets getting their fix.
