Did you build that little room in your garage?

This one was built in a garage that is sealed off into a workshop. This is one of three and soon 4 alternative BOL sites. There may be another BOL site ready in another state next year making 5 alternative BOL sites beyond my principal residence.

It's not in my nature to pry but...I have to ask. If you have (what seems to be) so much income that you can buy and stock 4 BOL, why don't you just move into one of them and be done with it? To me, it seems like a lot of work and waste setting up outposts all over the place.
Nice safe BTW
;)

Well, because I can. I guess that's the simple answer, but the truth is I work months (or longer) in Nevada. Utah, North Dakota, Wyoming, Colorado, Montana, etc. I also spend my down time fishing and hunting (mostly in Idaho and Wyoming). I can just go to my nearest place and hang out until the next project, well, etc. I also have an extended family that takes care of things for me and in return they get to have use of the BOL sites - we are our own prepper/survival community of sorts. Besides, rather than throw all my money away into stocks and bonds that are routinely siphoned off and stolen by investment house banksters as they game the system, I invest most of it in hard assets like precious metals, firearms, ammo, nonperishable foods and of course real estate. I can enjoy my investments now instead of hoping and waiting that they will be worth something in an undefined future time. I decided long ago after my wife passed away that I would enjoy life now rather than work to enjoy life for a few short years when I'm old, crippled, unmotivated, and incapable of living a full life enjoying outdoor activities. I have been blessed with choosing an occupation that allowed me a lot of freedom to be self employed as a contract worker and consultant.

Wasn't trying to judge...was just wondering the rationalization. Thanks for replying.
