This has nothing to do with DU, and everything to do with the engineering and beauty. Take the M16, the US military has killed hundreds of thousands with that gun, but do you jump on someones case because they like the AR?

You cannot deny that the A10 is one bad bitch. The Su-25 is superior, it just wasn't built around a huge DU spreader. FYI, in a clean configuration (nothing on the hardpoints) the Su-25 will fly at Mach speed on dry power (no ABs), whereas the A10's do not exceed speed is 450. The A10 is called the 'Warthog' because it is such an ugly POS. It is twisted to call that DU spreader 'a thing of beauty'.

I admire the A10, SR71, Space Shuttle etc. As engineering feats, nothing more nothing less. I believe you have argued in the pst about the M1 being a good gun which was also used offensivly.

The argument that you can't admire the engineering because it is used to kill innocents is the same childesh nonsense the marxists use to outlaw guns because they happen to kill people.

Bottom line, these are tools, insturments, nothing more, you can admire the engineering of any insturment without supporting what that insturment is currently being used for. For example, you could come on the boards and say "oh Gen 4 glocks are awesome" and I could say "oh my grandmother was killed by a Gen 4 glock, you are such an inconsiderate ass" but the weapon is the insturment, the user is what kills.
