He's lucky those cops were accommodating to his requests. If they had chosen to escalate, he would be in jail or dead by now.

This guy is Pastor Steve Anderson from Phx AZ. He made the video where he went through border patrol and they broke out the glass on his car and tazed him. Crazy....

I found the guy's blog/website:
http://www.sanderson1611.blogspot.com/

I also found an interactive map from the ACLU which lets you see which states % of "Constitution-Free Zones":
http://www.aclu.org/constitution-free-zone-map

http://www.aclu.org/privacy/spying/cfz_map/Image-Map.gif

It's basically places with coasts.

The guy in the video is from Tempe, Arizona (near Phoenix.) I wonder if this happened in that orange zone, or is it happening everywhere in America?

I'm telling you. Necessity imports privilege and even if death results these people think they are immune. This guy was lucky. I expect he will learn from the experience but pleading not guilty is pleading into a fiction. The dishonor will make you guilty.

I presume by that you mean that he should not have made a plea at all. By pleading, he acknowledged their jurisdiction over him. Do you fall into dishonor if you grant them jurisdiction? Or is there more I need to learn about legalese?

I would get their names, badge numbers and sue them for a minimum of 9 figures.

Of course i never would have closed my eyes for them either, bitches!

Where exactly does the Constitution authorize a "Constitution-Free Zone"? Of course, the way our government acts, the whole country must be a "Constitution-Free Zone" to them.

I presume by that you mean that he should not have made a plea at all. By pleading, he acknowledged their jurisdiction over him. No. He is pleading into a military court. Common law approach would be to plead "non-assumpsit by way of confession and avoidance". Had he plead such he would have been told there is not such plea. Honor would require a guilty plea. Dishonor exists with a plea of not guilty. By doing so he is pleading into a fiction. One way out would be to plead guilty to the facts but not the controversy. This closes the books on the facts and he gets his relief in appeal. Only other way is to not appear.

Do you fall into dishonor if you grant them jurisdiction? Or is there more I need to learn about legalese?

Hatha

No. They would love it if he grants jurisdiction. You get into dishonor by arguing or by failing to keep your contracts.
