I doubt if this guy can justify his actions based upon being in fear of his life to his peers.

Rhode Island Cop Still Employed Despite Conviction of Kicking Woman to Head

A Rhode Island cop who was convicted of a felony after he was caught on video kicking a handcuffed woman to the head is still employed as a police officer.

Lincoln police officer Edward Krawetz kicked the woman in the head in 2009 claiming self-defense because apparently he was in fear for his life. He didn’t go to trial until March of this year.

He was convicted and sentenced to ten years in prison but because he is a cop, the judge suspended the sentence, meaning he didn't serve a day in jail, even though he already had a prior conviction for assaulting a jogger.

He will also collect his pension once he reaches retirement age.

Proffessional courtesy from one thug to another.

Well we all know that the criminal elements in control have corrupted the courts. What a bunch of total crap! Soon those that commit these crimes against the people will have no place to run or hide! {Well... I certainly hope so!}

Solid does NOT deserve your nasty swipe above. That is a loathsome response. Solid would be the last to defend any man kicking any woman in the head, let alone intentionally.

Any real man would NOT defend this overt abuse let alone judicial outcome.

Are you capable of feeling embarrassment a/w/a are totally bereft of beneficial, supportive, acceptable interaction with other decent GS folk?

Geeze!

Solid is Slowbell now, Beef, your reply was sharper than Awokes and unless I am mistaken was complete sarcasm.

You are mistaken, Cebu_4. I was NOT being sarcastic.

Solid=Slowbell is old OLD news. Zap "outted him" remember? Solid is a solid young man and a friend.

EDIT: Turns out it was Ximmy that outted solid. Sorry, Zap. Sorry Ximmy. Credit to where credit is due.

Thanks for the kind words, Beefsteak. Actually it was Ximmy that "outed" me, one post. I won't deny I've had multiple usernames here.

Awoke, you and I have bickered back and forth many times on cop threads. If you think I would defend a cop kicking a handcuffed woman in the head...I really don't see a point in posting my opinion anymore. Your mind is made up, and anything I post will just derail the thread.

Solid will defend this.

LEO cocksuckers (who swallow) will ALWAYS defend cops who are violent simply because "they were in fear for their life" DESPITE the circumstances.

Here's a recent example in San Antonio where the Chief of SAPD DEFENDS his despicable troops beating the living shit out of a restrained 5' 1"/126# pregnant woman. Incredibly the Chief essentially says *whatever* force is necessary to get someone to 'comply'. Incredible -

You have to be a little concerned with the legal principle of "necessity". Use of this word casually in a conversation is actually notice that you are assume the mantle of authority when it comes to use of lethal force.

Bro, I'm sorry, I should have posted a SARC emoticon. (and the usual reminder, that Youtube is blocked here) I can't see the video, I was just taking a fun poke based on our past differences regarding police brutality.

It was honorable of Beef to defend you. (but uncalled for, imo)

Solid, you and I have had differences in the past, and I have seen you defend unquestionable examples of inexcusable police brutality, but I still like you and I don't have a beef with you. I think the only reason you do that is because you used to be a cop, and to admit that you once belonged to one of the biggest organized crime rings in the world would be crushing to you.

I know that you're a good guy with good moral fiber. I know you from years of your posts. If we met in real life, I would love to drink beers with you, and you and I would get along just fine.

I seriously have no issues with you, other than your propensity to defend police brutality. Understand I was jokingly poking the bear. (I suppose in bad taste, now in retrospect)

I was being tongue in cheek, because I really couldn't watch the video anyways.
See my post above.

I will check out the link you posted though, thanks.

Thanks Awoke, and cheers. One thing you and I share, is a strong sense of right and wrong, and sometimes the voice to share those thoughts. I won't take any cop comments personally. I'm not a cop anymore, that was a short, yet rough, time in my life. I have no affiliation with any of them. I respect your opinion on the issue, even when we don't agree.

FWIW, they don't teach the boot to head tactic in academy. :) I look forward to meeting you for beers one day, I'm sure we would have a good and lively conversation. I know that would be a good time, hope it can happen one day.
