I just spoke with one of my Ruger distributors about Ruger. With regards to the new American rifles he advised that Ruger is able to manufacture about 800 guns a week...however they are back ordered for 100,000 guns, do the math. No ETA on the next shipment but we expect a few dribs and drabs. Also there is a shipment of folding 10-22's and Sr1911's on the way and I will post that when they arrive. Phil.

I had a lot of trouble getting my last gun, which was a Ruger. I just called around a lot, and got to know gun store owners, and one eventually found one used (in new condition.)

A friend of mine had to wait about 6 months to get a Ruger Alaskan, before one came in. He knows the gun shop owner, and waited. Also, it was used as well. I've been wanting a Ruger LCR, my next gun purchase. This thread makes me want to get on it, and get one while I can.

There was a story not too long ago about ruger not taking orders because they were so far behind. That was right after I got my LCP.

Looking to get one tomorrow morning at a gun show. Really like my LCP after it was repaired, just a little to tiny, I am small framed and my G26 kind of hard to hide summer time.

You arent using the right holster. A g 19 should conceal no problem in summer (here, its ALWAYS summer) ;)

all depends. Maybe you....I know how big you are :) Just picked it up, $365 with laserMax , not too bad pricewise, compared to what they were going for last year.

To me that seems like a great price. Did you get the 357 or 38? Also, what exactly is the lasermax? Out here in CA, I was looking at $450 or so.
