Free-Market Analysis: In this video, we hear strong words from UN ambassador Susan Rice who claims that Syria's military actions against the forces of regime change may now amount to crimes against humanity.
What Ms. Rice does not say, however, is that there is plenty of evidence including an April 2011 New York Times report that outlines how the US itself (perhaps along with Britain and NATO (javascript:showWindow(500,800,'/floatWindow.cfm?id=1854');)) has been behind the "youth movement" destabilizations of various African and Middle Eastern countries.
It seems fairly obvious now that a power elite (javascript:showWindow(500,800,'/floatWindow.cfm?id=610');) intent on ruling the world has embarked on this destabilization effort to bring one-world government (javascript:showWindow(500,800,'/floatWindow.cfm?id=2045');) closer.
First of all, the UN's Responsibility to Protect (javascript:showWindow(500,800,'/floatWindow.cfm?id=1951');) (R2P) doctrine that was passed in 2005 has seemingly given rise to these actions. It effectively abrogated the 400-year-old Peace of Westphalia (javascript:showWindow(500,800,'/floatWindow.cfm?id=1949');) wherein it was agreed that nations would recognize fraternal boundaries.
But under R2P, nation-states have an affirmative obligation to interfere if a regime is deemed dangerous to a country's inhabitants.
You can hear Ms. Rice lambasting Russia and China for apparently not going along with a R2P decree that would allow the "world" to move aggressively against Syria via a global military campaign, sanctions, etc.
Little known, R2P has now been used as a justification to undermine a number of Middle Eastern countries and it is hard to avoid the conclusion that Syria will be the next to go, and then perhaps Iran and finally even Russia.
There are mixed messages coming out of Syria today amidst stepped-up fighting. According to Reuters (javascript:showWindow(500,800,'/floatWindow.cfm?id=2551');), Syrian leaders are now denying a Russian report that President Bashar Assad (javascript:showWindow(500,800,'/floatWindow.cfm?id=2933');) has "accepted leaving power in an orderly way." According to Syrian sources, these reports are "completely devoid of truth."
The ministry statement, flashed on state television, came in response to remarks by Moscow's envoy to Paris who said that by accepting a recent international declaration which foresaw a transition towards a more democratic Syria, Assad had "accepted to leave, but in an orderly way."
[Meanwhile] Rebels seized control of sections of Syria's international borders and torched the main police headquarters in the heart of old Damascus, advancing relentlessly since Wednesday's attack. Rebels also claimed control of at least two border crossings into Turkey at Bab al-Hawa and Jarablus, in what appeared to have been a coordinated campaign to seize Syria's frontiers.
It is hard to avoid the conclusion that the Assad regime is about to topple. The result could be an Islamic regime in Assad's place – just as Islamic governments are replacing secular governments in a number of other destabilized countries: Egypt and Tunisia – and also Libya.
Why is the West undermining secular Middle Eastern countries to basically install Islamic ones? It would seem as if this were a counter-intuitive series of actions that will end up creating vast religious (javascript:showWindow(500,800,'/floatWindow.cfm?id=854');) tensions and a greater "war on terror (javascript:showWindow(500,800,'/floatWindow.cfm?id=1877');)."
