Americans are clueless. Fortunately there are 50 other nationalities available (Idahoan, Californian, Texan, ... ) and at least one of these nationalities are available to anyone considering themselves "American". The only exception is the man/woman actually born in the District of Columbia. These poor souls qualify as true American nationality and nothing else.

It takes a lot of effort and a lot of self confidence to discover truth. Truth is ugly. Especially for those who are hopelessly deceived. I know because I have been discovering truth slowly over the last dozen years or so. It is like venturing out into unknown territory. Much of what really controls the world is hidden from us deliberately' Just think of all the taboo topics you are not supposed to discuss. And all the violators of those taboos you are not supposed to listen to. If you want to know the truth, you have to go and find it yourself. No one will tell you the truth. Not about yourself, not about themselves, not about the world. It is something you have to seek yourself. It takes a lot of effort to discover it. And when you do, you live in a different world, and you know nobody will believe you if you told them, so you have to keep it all to yourself to avoid ridicule and marginalization.
Most Americans do not have the stamina and persistence or the courage to venture out to find the truth for themselves. TPTB are completely aware of this and exploit it to the max. It is much safer for people to live in the world they learned about in public schools and what they watch on TV, where they never tell you about inalienable rights god gave you, and how they have become 'privileges' that are granted by the government. Nor will they tell you about the idea of 'sovereignty'. Americans don't know what sovereignty is. They don't know that we are the first country on this earth that made the people sovereigns, and the government their servant. They think it is the other way around. Because that is what filled the vacuum of their ignorance when they attended public schools, the breeding ground for slaves. Most Americans think that the 'law' is what authority wants, and have no idea how to argue what is right or wrong when confronted by authority. It's much easier to just conform and obey and let other people make the effort to change themselves and the system in ways that make their lives a steadily declining experience of enslavement. Hell, it takes some major effort to get an understanding of how the money system works, with all the economists and presstitutes leading you astray at every turn. So we all just go along to get along. It's the path of least resistance. The devil is very charming. We're all too lazy to free ourselves, and too fearful of talking to other like minded people for fear of the authorities who want us all atomized and isolated and lacking organization or communication with others who have shared interests.
The only salvation we have is that the stories of TPTB are becoming more transparent and less believable, so slowly it is taking more effort to believe their stories than to find out the truth. When that tipping point is reached, the whole power structure will turn into dust--just like the WTC buildings.

Yes- truth is ugly when it confronts our desired preconceptions, selfish lusts and proud designs. But truth is beautiful in its abilty to free us from shackles that we did not know held us down. Truth is the foundation of principles and principles give us guidance. Those who are cowardly, self-serving or delighting in false images will hate those who speak truth.
Salvation in TPTB failing? Well, there is some solace in their temprorary nature and the fact that they suffer from the same ailments as everyone else. But the only true salvation is in the One who provides atonement with the Almighty God. This I have found to be true.
