Nothing happens. The whole country has been bankrupt since June 5, 1933. Do you know anybody who got worked up about that? The Post Office is too big to fail. This is another ho-hum moment.

Well, I'd much rather see the post office bailed out, than a bunch of scheming greedy bankers. That's for sure. They at least provide us a service rather than sticking it to us, then getting a bunch of bonuses for their greed.

Growing up, fond memories of postmen. We had a dog, a border collie, named Harry who used to love to chase them.

We always got to know them by name, and they were always friendly folks who you were happy to see.

God bless the Post Office. I try to send postal most of the time. If they need a bailout, I'll pitch in. I want my taxes to go to them, not greedy swindling politicians or banksters.
