(Unless I missed it, we don't have a marketplace subforum, so I'm posting here - mods move to appropriate place if there is one)

I've a few reconditioned CDV-700 geiger counters available. There were recently thoroughly checked for correct voltages and received a certified calibration by a licensed facility last February ($95.00 value). Each comes with one each: new old stock headset, manual, and carrying strap. These are Victoreen 6A models and therefore have the long-lasting U-238 check source. Certified calibration sticker on side of instrument.

Special for GSUS crowd:
$160.00 for complete package
$140.00 for CDV-700 with broken carrying strap loop (damaged in transit, otherwise identical to others)

Guaranteed not to be DOA.

it will get way more exposure here. That subforum is a ghost town.

These CDV-700s are a crucial piece of kit, and at this price a very good value.

Do you have any high-range ones? (715,717)

You can find those on feebay relatively inexpensively, but all those are uncalibrated and to work effectively they require calibration on a regular basis (1-5 years depending upon conditions). And only KI4U.com performs calibrations on the high range survey meters (ionization chambers, not GM tubes).

What in the world do you want a high range survey meter for?? By the time you begin to move the needle on a high range survey meter you already have a HUGE problem.
