3 people wounded & shooter killed.

CNN is titling it a Mass shooting, sounds more like an incident of violence.

Right now , I think no one knows what is going on. Said one shooter down, and officer shot?? Plus maybe 2nd shooter still doing his/her thing, with people/kids trapped in building.

Still needs sorting out

Now it is 7 people killed, I guess the 3 wounded was an early number.

Sikh official was on stating firstly "We are not Muslims..."

Editor's Note: This story was updated at 1:50 p.m. CST to include updates on the number of fatalities.

Seven people have been killed and many others wounded in a Sunday morning shooting at the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin (http://oakcreek.patch.com/listings/sikh-temple-of-wisconsin) in Oak Creek.
Police said three bodies were found outside the temple at 7512 S. Howell Ave. and four were inside the building. Among the deceased is the gunman.
Greenfield Police Chief Bradley Wentlandt said tactical units have gone through the building and have not not identified any other shooters.
Wentlandt said the Oak Creek police officer who first responded to the call was shot multiple times but is expected to survive. That officer, a 20-year veteran of the department, was in surgery Sunday afternoon, he said.
According to our media partners at FOX6 News (http://fox6now.com/2012/08/05/several-injured-in-oak-creek-church-shooting/):
"Froedtert Hospital has confirmed three men were taken to Froedtert Hospital. Froedtert officials say all three are in critical condition. One is in the Surgical Intensive Unit, one in the Operating Room and one has just arrived into Froedtert’s emergency department."
One member of the temple told Patch: "We are shocked. We are a peaceful people."
Another person who had friends inside the temple told Patch that the shooting occurred during a morning service and that at least one gunman opened fire on the victims.
There are other reports that victims still in the temple were telling friends and family not to call their cell phones because they are still in hiding and the ringer may give up their positions.
For instant updates follow Oak Creek Patch on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/oakcreekpatch) and Twitter (http://www.twitter.com/oakcreekpatch)
Police also have been asking media to not broadcast any photo, video or tactical developments at temple.
Another person on the scene told Patch that shortly before noon that there were three or four people inside the temple with guns. That person described the shooting as "a hate crime."
Another member of the temple told Patch: "The priest called from inside (the temple) and said, "Send ambulances; send ambulances."
According to recent information broadcast over police radio, a witness to the shooting told law enforcement the shooter was a white male, with a heavy build, bald head and wearing a sleeveless T-shirt. He was last seen with two handguns.
Flight for Life helicopters have arrived on the scene. A Wauwatosa fire truck and numerous squad cars also are on on the scene. The FBI also has been called in, and police from as far away as Fox Point and Brown Deer are on the scene.
As an apparent precaution, several squad cars were stationed at the entrances and exits of the Sikh Temple at 3675 N. Calhoun Road.
The Sikh Temple began with 20 families in rented space in the south side of Milwaukee and has since grown to number in the hundreds. A new Gurudwara was built in Oak Creek to better serve the needs of the growing community. The construction of the 17,500 square-foot Gurudwara was completed in 2007, with parking for 100 cars.
Sikh Indians, because of religious tradition, wear turbans to cover their uncut hair and have longer beards. They are often mistaken for Muslims and have been the targets of racially-motivated crimes by anti-Muslim people and groups, as evidenced by the epithets shouted at them.
Sunday's shooting is similar to an incident in March 2005 in Brookfield, when a gunman killed parishioners during a church service at the Sheraton Hotel in Brookfield (http://www.nytimes.com/2005/03/13/world/americas/13iht-shoot.html?_r=1) where the Living Church of God met regularly.
One of their own, long-time church member Terry Ratzmann, 44, of New Berlin, opened fire, killing himself and seven other people. Then-District Attorney Paul Bucher told the Associated Press in August 2005 that Ratzmann executed the pastor’s family and “then randomly opened up fire after that." (http://www.nytimes.com/2005/08/03/national/03rampage.html)
A clear motive for the Brookfield shooting was never identified. (http://articles.chicagotribune.com/2005-03-29/news/0503290255_1_terry-ratzmann-church-service-living-church)
The Sikh American Legal Defense and Education Fund, a national Sikh American civil rights organization, issued a statement Sunday saying:
"Our thoughts and prayers are with the injured, the survivors, their families, and the Oak Creek community."
As the situation developed Sunday, several area officials also expressed their condolences for the victims.
State Sen. Chris Larson, who represents Oak Creek, said on Twitter: "Thoughts & prayers with friends in Oak Creek & our Sikh community. Still trying to figure out what is happening and why."
Eric Hovde, a Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate seat, tweeted: "Sharon and I send our thoughts and prayers out to all of those involved in the Oak Creek shooting."

This shooting now has been labeled as an act of domestic terrorism.

Wis. police say shootings at Sikh temple treated as domestic terrorism, FBI to investigate

By Associated Press, Updated: Sunday, August 5, 4:22 PM

OAK CREEK, Wis. — Police in Wisconsin say the FBI will handle the investigation of shootings at a Sikh temple near Milwaukee.

Oak Creek Police Chief John Edwards says the case is being treated as a domestic terrorism case and the FBI is better equipped to handle that.

Edwards said during a news conference Sunday afternoon that seven people are dead, including the suspected shooter, and three people are wounded. One of those is a police officer shot by the suspect.
The shootings happened about 10:30 a.m. as people were gathering for a service at the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin in Oak Creek, which is just south of Milwaukee.

Though police have not given any details on the identity or motive of the shooter, or released the identities of the victims, sources have told ABC News the shootings are the work of a "white supremacist" or "skinhead."

Gungrabbers never miss an opportunity to sweep in like vultures before the bodies are cold -

The wounded president of the temple, Satwant Singh Kaleka, had recently hosted state Rep. Josh Zepnick and the county district attorney to discuss a recent rise in violence against area Sikhs at their stores and businesses, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

"It's gut wrenching," Zepnick said today in response to the shooting. "It certainly makes you wonder about how just how far this epidemic of gun violence goes, where innocent people's lives are put at risk in ordinary day-to-day situations. it makes me sick to my stomach."

http://abcnews.go.com/US/sikh-temple-oak-creek-wisconsin-officials-white-supremacist/story?id=16933779&page=2

Additionally, whomever was responsible for this timed it such that there would be many people gathered for their community lunch and while several were in the kitchen that's apparently where the shooter entered and started (knew where the kitchen was located).

Where is the 9/11 tattoo?

Reportedly on one of the 'white male's' arms, and supposedly seen by both a neighbor and a witness to the shooting. The reports go that he was wearing a sleeveless white tee and army fatigues. India press is reporting it was 'white male with a 9/11 tattoo'. According to 'sources' this tattoo is what somehow relates to 'domestic terrorism'.

But why the Sikhs? It makes no sense. Who could possibly get pissed off at those folks to the point of shooting them? They're about as harmless as they come and there aren't that many of them in the states anyway - India is home to the vast majority of Shikhs.

Why are people saying this makes no sense?

The sent in four operatives to shoot up a sikh congregation.

Then they say it was a single, white, supremacist shooter with a 9/11 tattoo. The racial tension is obvious, the 9/11 tattoo is an obvious attempt to tie the 9/11 truth movement to murderous white nationalism. Anyone who talks about the twin towers must be a white nationalist murderer.

2010 interview: Temple shooter said he started band to get results 'in our sick society' (http://www.jsonline.com/news/crime/2010-interview-temple-shooter-said-he-started-band-to-get-results-in-our-sick-society-mh6co71-165132146.html)
By Piet Levy (plevy@journalsentinel.com) of the Journal Sentinel
Aug. 6, 2012 9:48 a.m.

A May 2010 interview Sikh Temple shooter Wade Page gave to promote his hard-core punk band End Apathy reveals a man who felt he was holding himself back when it came to accomplishing "positive results . . . in our sick society."
The interview was conducted by "Rick 56" from End Apathy's record label Label 56 (http://www.label56.com/), which bills itself on its website as promoting "cultural change through music and activism." In the interview, Page said he started the band in 2005 "to figure out what it would take to actually accomplish positive results in society and what is holding us back."
"A lot of what I realized at the time was that if we could figure out how to end people's apathetic ways it would be the start towards moving forward," Page is quoted as saying. "Of course after that it requires discipline, strict discipline, to stay the course in our sick society.
"But I didn't want to just point the finger at what other people should do, but also I was willing to point out some of my faults on how I was holding myself back."
That sentiment, he says in the interview, inspired the song "Self Destruct."
Page also says his band's songs "vary from sociological issues, religion and how the value of human life has been degraded by being submissive to tyranny and hypocrisy that we are subjugated to."
You can read more of Page's interview at the Uprise Direct blog (http://uprisedirect.blogspot.com/2010/05/end-apathy-interview-2010.html). The blog, as well as the Label 56 site, both promoted End Apathy men's and women's shirt, 7-inch vinyl and sticker combos last month.
Sources with the Sikh Temple shooting investigation have identified Page, 40, as the man who shot and killed six people Sunday at the Sikh Temple in Oak Creek. He served in the Army for several years and was assigned to psychological operations, or PsyOps, according to the sources.
Page was shot and killed by an Oak Creek police officer Sunday morning after he shot a police officer who was helping one of his victims.

I am suspecting there may be some truth the the stories floating around about a rift and battle within establishment circles. I wonder if there were attempted couz against the Prez. going on (i.e., the weird shot of AF1 and the statue of liberty, the Columbia thing, etc.). We may be seeing specific tactical missions, which then get covered by the establishment's lap-dog media fronts.

End Apathy Interview 2010

This interview with End Apathy was conducted by Rick 56 in April of 2010 . Permission to reprint is granted as long as this statement with links to http://www.myspace.com/endapathyband, http://www.label56.com/ and http://uprisedirect.blogspot.com/are included. Mp3`s from End Apathy can be heard on the End Apathy my space as well as the Label 56 website

Good evening Wade, this interview is long overdue due to my own fault but with all the good stuff going on with your band now I don`t think the timing could be more perfect. I`d like to do this interview to let everyone know about End Apathy from the very beginning up until now. It was at least three years ago when I first got in touch with you after hearing your music on your my space page. Can you give the readers a quick background to End Apathy? More specifically- how long ago did you actually come up with the idea for End Apathy (and why you choose the name End Apathy) and start writing music for it?

End Apathy began in 2005 and the concept was based on trying to figure out what it would take to actually accomplish positive results in society and what is holding us back. A lot of what I realized at the time was that if we could figure out how to end peoples apathetic ways it would be the start towards moving forward. Of course after that it requires discipline, strict discipline to stay the course in our sick society. So, in a sense it was view of psychology and sociology. But I didn't want to just point the finger at what other people should do, but also I was willing to point out some of my faults on how I was holding myself back. And that is how I wrote the song "Self Destruct".

As you said End Apathy was entirely your own creation. What was your inspiration for wanting to do the band?

Yes, it was entirely my own idea. The inspiration was based on frustration that we have the potential to accomplish so much more as individuals and a society in whole.

The music you write is very clean sounding and to me has an oldschool 80`s California skate punk sound to it. Am I totally off base here? Lol. How would you describe your music and can you tell us why you choose to write in this style?

When I first started writing these songs I didn't have a set plan on the style of sound, it just came together. I think it is mainly based on the mix of my influences and that is 80's punk, metal, and Oi.

What kind of topics do you write about in your lyrics?

The topics vary from sociological issues, religion, and how the value of human life has been degraded by being submissive to tyranny and hypocrisy that we are subjugated to.

As mentioned you have been writing music for End Apathy over 5 years but until now it has been a solo project. I`m very happy you stayed persistent with it because I personally love the music style you create for the band. Your persistence has paid off as you now have a complete line up. Can you let everyone know what is going on with End Apathy now?

End Apathy as a band has taken a long time to develop, mainly because it was a one man project. But now there is a full line up with Brent on bass and Ozzie on drums - both from Definite Hate and 13 Knots. We have the luxury of living close to each other and are able to have practice often, as a result we are ready to record our first release which is a 7" split with Definite Hate, then another song that we're contributing to the UPRISE compilation and our full length CD will come out after that.

I`m really glad that worked out for you. Just in this short time you have already done a live show playing with Definite Hate and you guys are all practicing together. How long do you think it will be before we will see End Apathy on stage live?

End Apathy will be playing at the Independent Artist Uprise fest, but we will also be playing at some local clubs here in North Carolina and possibly playing the midwest this fall.

You guys are also getting ready to do some recording for both bands. Label 56 will be releasing a split 7" this summer between End Apathy and Definite Hate. We are also planning to do your full length sometime early next year. Is there anything you want to let the readers know about these. What else do you guys have planned?

Even though End Apathy, Definite Hate, and 13 Knots share some of the same members each band has it's own unique style and sound. Our main focus is the upcoming recording and playing shows.

Aside from your band I`d like the readers to know a bit about you. Not many people may be aware but you used to play with Youngland out in California before moving out to the east coast. How long have you yourself been involved in music and are there any other bands you have been involved with?

I had the opportunity to play bass with Youngland for 2 years back in 2001 - 2003 and during that time I filled in for various bands on guitar and bass including Celtic Warrior, Radikahl, Max Resist, Intimidation One, Aggressive Force, Blue Eyed Devils. I have been playing music since I was 13, off and on over the years.

Are you originally from out in California? How did you wind up moving from one side of the country to the complete other?

I am originally from Colorado and had always been independent, but back in 2000 I set out to get involved and wanted to basically start over. So, I sold everything I owned except for my motorcycle and what I could fit into a backpack and went on cross country trip visiting friends and attending festivals and shows. I went to the Hammerfest 2000 in Georgia, over to North Carolina, up to Ohio, down to West Virginia, and out to California and that's when I joined Youngland.

What do you see as any differences between the east and west coast whether in the music scene or just lifestyle in general?

In some ways things are generally the same, but each area has it's own unique style and traditions. Influenced by surroundings and events. The southeast is much more laid back and relaxed with more of a hillbilly attitude and that is reflected in the music. SoCal was more of a fast paced, tense environment and that definitely comes across in their music.

Well I`m glad you have made yourself a home out here and things are coming together for you. I hope to see End Apathy around and making music for years. The closing words are yours.

I want to say a big THANK YOU to everyone at Label 56 for believing in End Apathy and putting out our music!

Just saw Amardeep Kaleka (son of the killed president, and filmamaker of the UFO film) on MSN. Rachel Maddow said there may be a reason to suspect someone was targeted. Then they cut to him, but no mention of the film otr anything else about a possible target. Sudden change of heart on someone's part?

Here is another one. CBS news video from today. The lady says (referring to the gunman "No.No.No. They don't talk each other. Nothing. Just start shooting."

It's almost as though the media want us to discover the truth.

Shooting suspect was US army psy-ops specialist: Pentagon (http://www.thejakartaglobe.com/afp/shooting-suspect-was-us-army-psy-ops-specialist-pentagon/535983)

The gunman suspected of attacking a Sikh temple in Wisconsin and killing six people was a former US Army "psychological operations specialist," the Pentagon said Monday.

Wade Michael Page, who was himself shot dead by police during the incident, was a 40-year-old who had served between April 1992 and October 1998, ending his career at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

He received his basic training in Fort Sill, Oklahoma before being moved to Fort Bliss in Texas. Fort Bragg, where he finished his career, is home to many of the US Army's airborne units and its Special Operations Command.

According to the Pentagon, Page was a qualified parachutist who received a commendation medal, five achievement medals, two good conduct medals, the National Defense Service Medal and a Humanitarian Service Medal.

But he left with the relatively junior enlisted rank of Specialist E-4.
