Dallas County confirms a tenth person has died after contracting the West Nile virus.
Officials say the victim was a woman in her 90s with underlying health problems.
The latest victim lived in zip code 75229.
Due to the spread of the West Nile virus, Dallas will begin aerial sparying on Thursday (http://www.nbcdfw.com/news/health/Dallas-May-Start-Aerial-Spraying-on-Thursday-166014556.html).
Last week, Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins recommended aerial spraying (http://www.nbcdfw.com/news/health/Dallas-County-Recommending-Aerial-Spraying-165793666.html) to help kill the mosquito population that carries the virus.
City leaders in each city and town in Dallas County will make the decision to spray within their communities.
