The photographer who captured this image managed to catch this MiG-29 OVT 'flying ass first' with an angle of attack of ~150 degrees. :o

MiG does not hold all the time to altitude records for air-breathing aircraft since '87, that accolade goes to Sukhoi and Sukhoi alone. A one off Su-27, bort P-42, set the record for 0-15,000 meters (49,000 ft.) at 71 seconds which remains unbroken today.
Nor does MiG produce the finest sport aircraft in the world which will never be replicated or exceeded as production aircraft EVER AGAIN (being that building such over the top/no expense whatsoever spared aerobatic aircraft can only be undertaken as a state enterprise - sure, there may be some 'one off' sport planes built by someone such as engineer/pilot Jurgis Kairy [who was on the original team developing the Sukhoi aerobatic a/c in the '80s], but no company can afford to do what Sukhoi has done with the Su-26, Su-29, and Su-31).

That particular MiG-29, bort 156, has differentially operating 3D thrust vector control which was retro-fitted to a standard MiG-29 simply by rolling it into a hangar and replacing the engines. OVT = the initials for TVC in Russian.

And while the russians enjoy a toto aircraft one lonely GI with a shoulder based rocket laucher completely takes the toto aircraft out of the sky with a pull of a trigger.
Thats all US pilots want to do is hang in the sky while mach 3 missiles are locking onto you.
Russians are as stupid as they have always been......areobatic agility is as outdated as WWII aircraft when areobatics are concerned.
Stealth is the name of the game in todays world of weaponry.
I hope for the pilots sake russia has real good ejector seat systems....they're going to need them with these types of aircraft.

Yeah, those stupid Russians have allowed themselves to be fooled into letting some unvetted Communist no one really knows where he came from and who influenced him to take the highest position in their govt. while playing the world's biggest fools for the Zionists fighting and dying for IsraHell.

Actually the Russian Zvezda K-36 ejection seats are so highly regarded worldwide that the Pentagram had originally specified the K-36 ejection seats for the F-22 cRaptor, and because of this Zvezda had planned on building a production facility in the states.
7th, thanks for providing an example of anosognosia for us. lol
