Read below the inspiring poem "Do it Anyway". It was written by Kent M. Keith as "Paradoxical Commandments", and promoted by Mother Teresa.

Generally it is known as Mother Teresa's "Do it Anyway" poem.

People are often unreasonable, illogical and self centered;

Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;

Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true
enemies;

Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you;

Be honest and frank anyway.

What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight;

Build anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous;

Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow;

Do good anyway.

Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough;

Give the world the best you’ve got anyway.

You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and your God;

It was never between you and them anyway.

I thought of this thread while watching this video. It's about parahawking, paragliding with trained hawks to guide them to the thermals. The hawks land on the glider's arm, flying like the birds. In this one, they installed a bird cam on the hawk.

Now that was cool!

It was, a lot. So far this week I've watched the Top Gear UK guys riding scooters from the bottom to the top of Vietnam, and then this... I'm sitting here thinking... what the hell am I doing?

Then I'm thinking why and why the hell not. I think I'm going to have to make some kind of plan.

Not sure what's up with me this morning, but I got a little choked up reading that. It made me think of different times in my life, and times I have seen my dad go through.

Yay, lunch with dad today!

Thanks, MNeagle, that was really moving.

Yay, lunch with dad today!

So... what nefarious evil doings are you and dad(Mayhem) planning to accomplish this morning? :)
