i post these to illustrate the absurdity of the tsa, homeland security, etc. you will notice that crossing back in to the u.s. on september 11, it literally took me 6 seconds to get across the border. if you added up the amount of time i spent at both crossings (coming and going with a truck + trailer full of boxes, coolers, stuff they have no idea what is in) it probably added up to maybe 1 minutes and 30 seconds max.

going in to canada pigeon river crossing september 7

border guy: hey guys, where are you going today?

me: lake pashkahn

border guy: where are you guys from?

us : wisconsin and minnesota.

border guy: how long will you be staying in canada?

me: 4 days, coming home tuesday.

border guy: tobacco, alcohol?

me: 1 case beer, 4 cigars.

border guy: any pepper spray, mace, firearms, or any other prohibited items?

me: nope.

border guy: okay guys, have a great trip.


coming back to u.s. september 11

border guy: hey guys, passports?

me: here you go.

border guy: bringing anything back from canada?

me: just some fish.

border guy: welcome home have a great day.

just an illustration that in a real security setting, they don't care. the tsa, homeland security, etc. is just there to acclimate the population to a police state.

Maybe you were the odd or even in their harassment count, and you all were long or short on the target "Let's shake down this one" count? {--->)
