OK guys, I want to hear a LOUDDDDDDDD POOR BABYYYYYY HAHAAAHAAAHAH.
Anyway, woke up with my right knee swolen twice the size of my left one.......went to the VA 123 miles from me and the waiting time was of 5.5 hours.......the Dr. went into my knee with a seven inch seringe and one inch round, he was expecting to draw out water but intead the sirenge was more than half full with blood, so, he is going to send me to the ortho Dr to see what's wrong.......when I got there I could not even get out of my RAV-4 and two nurses had to help me, after the Dr took out the blood my pain came down from a 10 to a about 6 or 7. Off my feet for a couple of days and then to the ortho appointment.........and that's my story for today, tune in again tomorrow for another exciting episode of ........"Life With Ponce" LOLLLLLLLLl.

hope you cleaned the catbox before you left. And have a watering and feeder system. Friends would be handy in this event.

I always leave the cat and dogs bag open where they can get the food at any time.....the dog has a dripping water fauccet into a bowl and the cat can drink it from anywhere........
Anyway......while I was waiting to be seen be the Dr this lady came in with her daughter and I asked the kid to please get me a cup of water, as she was coming back to me with it I told her "You know? I like sweet water, could you please stick your finger in the water for a second?"....she started to do it and suddenly stopped walking, she looked up at me and turnned around to look at her mother and then looked back a me again haahahahaah everyone was laughfin like mad......I then tell her "You are the second most beautifull girl in the world" and the mother said "I know and I am the first one" LOL
I like intelligent people who can think fast.........by the way, those two would make good book ends, yummy.
Because I could not get out of my SUV alone I parked in the ambulance emergency parking spot and after five minutes this nurse was walking by and I asked her to please have someone come and get me with a wheel chair and to bring a second person.......she first called the security guy (a city cop) and then came with the wheel chair.....the cop parked the RAV 4 and then came back to the waiting room with the key......nothing like having a cop acting like a parking attendant LOL.

Usually a knee joint with that much blood in it would indicate a ruptured Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL), however that doesn't happen without a significant trauma to the knee, and it would make the knee joint very wobbly and loose...

Neuro, back in 1971 a car squash me against a wall and when I woke up I found a Dr and a nurse drilling a hole right below my knee cap....I passed out, once again......when I woke up I found myself with a metal bar true the hole with a rope attached to it and to the ceiling in a pulley with 25 lbs at the other end...looked like dislocated my hip and they straighten it again, was like that for a month and half.............after that they put me to sleep and when I wokd up I had a body cast on, from under my shoulder to my ankle and with a hole at the seat of my pants and another one infront......after a months they took me home in the body cast on a medical bed and with a monkey bar above me...............that was when we had the big earthquake, next thing that I know I had my wife and two cats ontop of me with my wife saying "Honey, Honey" and there I was laugfin like hell..........by the way, I did get an infection in that hole in my knee, maybe that's why is in such a bad shape now.

Seems a bit far fetched, that this caused your current troubles 41 years later, but it is one possibility... Have you had any problems with this knee between '71 and now?

Ponce,
I'll think of you this weekend everytime I hear the TV football commentary use this season's mantra, "take a knee..."
Glad you're where you can get the help you need. Keep us posted.

Every day, I have to walk up the stairs a leg at a time, steping up with the left legg........cannot bend my right knee, limp all the time, right legg 1/2 shorter than the left one and right foot squashed like a bug with all toes broken but for the big one.......remember that I have broken my right leeg 6 different times..........man oh man, and I am still alive?
Found out the problem for puking so much and sleeping so much.......suppose to take only half of the pain pill that the Dr gave me and I was taking the whole thing....Hidrocodone.........going back to bed........just woke up a few minues ago.

If you had continuos problems with the knee for the last 40 odd years, it is possible that your ACL (or something else with bloodvessels) snapped from even a small force... You may consider having a knee prosthesis put in, instead of your old degenerated knee. The results are generally very good, but choose a surgeon that have done more than 200 of these surgeries. Be careful with the narcotic painkillers, you were prescribed...

Let's see what the Ortho Dr has to say when I see him.......the leg bothers me, yes, but is not yet a pain in the ass, by the way, my left foot is also 1/2 shorter than my left one hahahaahahha, what a mess.........oh, and my left shoulder is missign 1/2 inch, two broken ribs, two broken fingers and two cut fingers (one from a bullet), nose out of line, machete wound under my righ arm (4 inches long), messed up left hand (that was the last one) three bullets wounds, two bones sticking out at the bottom of my right foot (have to sand them down every two weeks), spoon cut on my left ear, cut left side of upper lip, two scars on my head, my right hip makes a cracking sound once in a while...........I got more but I have forgoten...............one time a cop ask me "Any scars or wounds?"hahahahah and of course I said no......and "any teeth missing?, and there I was without my plates LOLLLLLLLLLLL................. those pain pills? I won't be taking them anymore, they are now part of my field hospital................almost forgot, my BP was 195/129 the nurse took a double look and did it again 194/123 and I told her "Well now, that's better", her answer?......went running out the door to talk to the Dr hahahaaahahhahah.
Now you know why I am "God Jr in trainning"

Ponce, If your short leg has the bothersome beat up knee, replacement surgery can also correct leg length through use of augments to replace lost bone, and/or through the use of a thicker polyethylene insert.

You may want to go and see a chiropractor as well. If it is a good one he'll straighten you out. Blood pressure goes up when in intense pain, that is normal...

...holy shit, Ponce!!!
you actually found apurpose for a cop?! should have told him to fill 'er up, and give it a wash while he was at it!! lol
...on second thought, probably better to not give them too much to handle at once, i wouldn't trust the ones around here to sort my recycling!! lol
seriously though, no more rope skipping, and whatever you do, don't jog more than 10 miles at a time.
heal fast, young man!

I'd definately do this before letting anyone cut on you.

Well, will see what happens........that's why I say that I won't be going anywhere and that this is my last Alamo stand.
By the way Spirit, when the cop gave me back the keys I asked him "Are my ten millions dollars still in the glove compartment?" and say to me "Noped, I am taking a trip around the world" hahahaahaahah
Milehi?.....at this time I have a pair of boots and a pair of sporty shoes that are 1/2 taller, right shoe, made that way........the danm boots cost $875.00 to the government and the sporty shoes $400.00, but that was because the shoes were mine already.
I do have something that you put around your leg with a bunch of belts and has a moving joint at the knees, it cost the government $1,250..........one of this days I'll have to find it, I would have to be Mandrake (the magician) to find the danm thing......amost forgot, 5 or the 6 guys also had a civilian care insurance, but like myself, they like the VA more, and is 100% free.......I think that the government already paid around $60,000 to $75,000 for my care.

Ponce should have been to one 40 years ago. Anyway blood in the joint fluid isn't a chiropractic problem, and from what he told me about his knee symptoms, it seems like he would be a good candidate for a knee replacement, but it is still a good idea to get a second opinion from a chiropractor that adjusts knees, and see what he could do prior to surgery. But sometimes it is just better to put a prosthesis in place of an old severely degenerated joint, there is a limit to how much a tissue can regenerate...
