View Full Version : I had a very realistic dream about the coming pole shift

Now, what was weird about it was only after the dream was over and I was thinking about it did I realize what I had just dreamed was in fact me witnessing the Earth's poles shifting. Only once before in my life have I had a dream this realistic and vivid; you know how most dreams are sort of nebulous and surreal, this one was very detailed and I remember it not like a dream but more like a memory.

So I was in my parents' back yard with my family, we were having a get together, sitting outside just talking and the kids were playing. I was standing looking towards the mountains (I live outside of Denver with a spectacular view of the rocky mountains) when I noticed how fast the clouds were moving over the mountains. It was a northerly wind; the clouds were moving south/south-east. The clouds were moving much faster than usual and I called my brother and dad's attention to it and we all watched the clouds with some degree of awe because you just don't normally see stuff like that. We didn't think much of it other than very heavy winds, but after a few minutes the clouds slowed down and it got deathly quiet. Then a low, heavy rumbling started, like an earthquake and the clouds/wind shifted and started slowly moving right towards us! At this point we were trying to figure out what kind of storm this was, or was it an earthquake, because we never get earthquakes in our area, but we don't have time to really figure out what's happening because the wind gets faster and faster, and within a minute is so intense that literally everything is blowing over and away. Trees blowing over, cars blowing over, I'm pinned against the fence when a bus from the main road a quarter mile away blows right into our yard and hits me, then presumably I'm dead and I wake up.

After I woke up from this dream I just contemplated it until it hit me that what would cause such a wind would be the earth shifting and rotating to a new pole alignment. Anyway, for what it's worth, it was a crazy dream and something I thought I'd share with everyone.

Question....The 1st vivid dream you had, did it turn out to be a foreshadowing of an actual event?

Thanks for sharing. What a horrible nightmare!

The planet rotates at 900 miles an hour, a pole shift would be an extinction level event.

The planet rotates at 900 miles an hour, a pole shift would be an extinction level event.

A shift of the mantle resulting in the N and S poles being relocated to the equator would not take place instantly. The fluid that the mantle floats and friction would slow the event quite significantly. Still and all, the event would probably beat any roller coaster ride you have ever experienced.

there are two kinds of dreams: ones we have when in deep sleep and those when we are in the twilight zone, and which are often those we remember.

I would not consider as premonitory twilight zone dreams as they often translate worries (or moments of happiness) we deal with in the awakening state but which are not always conscious.

Dreams occurring while in very deep sleep are most likely premonitory as they TAP in the Collective Unconscious via the Pineal Gland. Geniuses gets their ideas and concepts from those types of dreams by the way.

ps: I dont believe in a pole shift just now...

I have a similar dream where the Moon falls to Earth.

Magnetic pole shift, not actual planet flip...

is what happens when the small amount of grease (oil) gets removed from a generator's bearings...

Here is what our government has to say about pole shifts:

http://www.nasa.gov/topics/earth/features/2012-poleReversal.html

Also, there is a book by Charles Hapgood called The Path of the Pole, which you cn read here:

http://www.scribd.com/doc/101915255/The-path-of-the-Pole-Charles-Hapgood

(Not sure if you have to register at ScribD, but they have a lot of really good books you can read or download.)

I have always thought of a pole shift as a shift in the magnetic poles, not the earth's crust itself. It might cause some problems in navigation, but few because navigation today is done mostly with GPS. I doubt that such a shift would be a instantaneous event. It may take a few decades, or even centuries. It would go pretty much unnoticed unless you had instruments that relied on the correct positioning of the earth's magnetic field. I haven't had any nightmares about this. My nightmares are centered mostly around non-scientific phenomena.

May have something to do with the recent discussion about the difference in the polar ice levels which may be part of the pole shift phenomena.
I had a dream and some kind of waking moment thoughts about the space shuttle disaster in 1986. On January 28, Discovery exploded. I was in the shower with the radio on when the news broke and I swear in the hot shower I went cold after all the thoughts I had leading up to that time. There was no way of connecting all the images in my mind up to that point to be able to predict it. There's a sign post up ahead, your next stop, the Twilight Zone...

Yeah, well I had a dream recently where Mittens Obomney was my very bestest friend in the whole wide world. SERIOUSLY. Yes, that was very disturbing as well as the dream in the OP but it doesn't make it real. lol

For what it's worth, I don't think I'm sold on the whole "pole shift" event, although I've heard/researched enough about it to understand the danger such an event would entail. The strange thing is that anything related to the pole shift or whatever hasn't even been on my mind for months now, it hasn't even been a passing thought. More than likely just my subconscious having some fun. I remember my dreams pretty much every morning, and I never have dreams like this.

The only other time I've had a dream/vision as vivid and realistic as this one it wasn't about a future event, it was me being led to heaven and seeing angels. To this day I debate whether I interacted with actual spirit beings or if it was just a dream.

Isn't this one of the possibilities with the solar system going through the galactic plane, supposedly on the 21st of December 2012 (how this date could be calculated so precisely is beyond me though). I can see it as a real possibility though. It is not an absurd idea to think that the galaxy has a polarity, just like stars and planets, and it would affect the direction of the planets polarity depending on which side of the galactic plane you are on...

Ok I checked it up, what I described above is geomagnetic reversal, which occurs rather frequently, but with no distinguishing pattern. What can happen in these circumstances during the reversal is that several magnetic poles can appear, and cosmic radiation hitting earth may increase.

the subconscious rules the conscious.... and processes data without one being aware, then sends a bit of info back to the surface.

no dream pops up from nowhere apparently :) in your previous posting you mention "danger".... you ego felt deeply threatened and still is... while you may have forgotten about it for some time.

edit: It is true that I live at 6000ft because I think we could have massive tsunamis due to our solar system entering the plane of the galaxy, I think a pole shift in 2012-13 could be a psyop. Not saying that it cannot happen but Mayan Elders dont speak in those terms.

I had a very similar dream the night my Grandpa passed away. He came and showed me the aftermath of the pole shift event and then told me i would live through it. I was standing out in a rural area east of here and everything was blown away, trees, buildings, landmarks then he showed me the land and told me it was harvest time. I looked at the bare soil not a crop to be harvested anywhere.

Then he told me to prepare for what i was being shown. Ive tried to do the best i can but this huge lingering question remains in my mind.

How do you prepare for something like that?

Was this dream after your Grandpa passed?

Perhaps the harvest is not a food crop. Humans, souls, etc.? Would you consider your Grandpa a spiritual man? Maybe he was saying to get right with God...

Not a harvest a lack of a harvest.

You really think God/Universe wants me to go back to the cult of the Mormons?

I'm so past all the religion BS.

Spirituality is cool but don't have one good thing to say about religion.

Kind of reminds me of a dream I had about 3 or so years ago. In my dream I was married and had a child, I remember being outside with my wife looking up at the night sky seeing it split open with light coming down. I remember holding my child (In my dream I couldn't tell if it was a boy or girl, as of now I have a daughter) in my left arm (At the time I had this dream I was not a father) and I looked down at my right hand watching light breaking through my skin feeling it tingle as it looked like we were leaving our bodies to go on a journey. I feel myself float up I turn around to see my body and I wake up. I only had that one once, but it was extremely vivid. I can remember the details that happened even though I had that dream over 3 years ago. It's stuck with me ever since.

Since we're on the topic of dreams, I've had the same reoccurring dream since I was 10 years old. I am in a car with another person but I can never see their face. We are exchanging gun fire with someone (I think police or military), we pull into an old warehouse district I reach down and grab 2 guns open the car door point my guns in the direction of the incoming vehicles and start firing. As soon as I pull the trigger I wake up.

Still have no idea of the meaning. It's really vivid and I've probably had it once a year, every year since I was 10.

Do you think it's possible that could be a scene from a past life?

I never thought about that, I always had a since of dread that it was prophetic. The guns were modern. I remember the magazine extending longer than the bottom of the gun in my right hand in the dream. (I do have a glock 17 with a 33rd magazine) when I was a kid I thought that was weird, and would of been before the time Glocks were widely distributed, or even known. We're talking early to mid 80's.

I never paid much attention to the vehicle I was driving, I was the driver. In my dream, I am driving dodging debris and trying to get away from the people who are chasing us while the person I am with is shooting at them.
