I tried this on some cut that came from the Filet Mignon/rib part of the cow.
Italian Salad Dressing - 1/2 Cup
Canola Oil (or Sunflower oil or Sesame Oil or Hemp Oil) 1/2 Cup
Apple Cider Vinegar - 1/2 Cup
Heavy Beer - e.g. Sierra Nevada Bigfoot Ale gone flat - 1/2 cup
1/2 Big Onion - Diced Small
those are the major ingredients, the rest is to taste -
Garlic Paste
Liquid Smoke
I think that's everything.
It feels good to wade through the lesser cuts in the freezer & to get to a genuine decent cut of meat !
