I think about that sometimes. Why bother prepping when you are a single guy? I don't have a wife or any kids. If shtf, I'll most likely be on the front lines anyway. Send in the single guys first, that's fine.

It's the same thing as why sleep alone, when the local bar has a bunch of loose women you can take home for the night? It's not like women respect guys who want sex to mean something. Those are the 'nice guys' who finish last. Heck, women like guys who are the biggest swinging dick in the bar. Those guys get all the action, all the attention.

Why not go and buy the biggest obnoxious car around, and impress folks?

Man, I tell ya, sometimes this world makes me smile in wonder, how fucked up priorities really are.

We need to get back to our prepping roots, I went crazy in 2008, spent some FRNs, don't regret it a bit, I felt the system was very close to crashing (martial law was threatened unless congress signed bailouts, remember?) but that's not all with me anymore, I used a lot of it, gave it away to family, didn't replenish it all.
