Have to move, downgrade is a pleasant term. Had to scan a pic of actual cash to close the deal. So the Question is, how much is 8 oz of 100.00 ferns amount to? Not what it's worth cause I know it's worth nothing but paper... so how much does 8 oz of frn's add up to?

So, you want to know how much 8 oz of $100 bills is?
I don't know, same as the weight of 8 oz of $20 bills, or 8 oz of $1 bills. The number on the bill is meaningless, it's all the same.

One piece of paper weighs a gram sez the internet. I'd bet it's not the same as a golden graham.

I would say it is somewhere in the neighborhood of $45,000-50,000. 45-50K. Just a WAG. (Wild Ass Guess)

Your obama phone should have a calculator function. I am sure it's set to 28 grams per ounce, since that's what obama phone dealers deal in. I agree with Neuro on the value.
Alternatively, you could count the 224 bills, maybe there is an extra one or two that you can keep.
Is someone selling you a house for a number of ounces of ferns? Sounds kinda funky.
Are you moving to Nigeria in the reverse repo scam?

Each note no matter what the denomination weighs approx one gram. There are 454 grams to a pound. Which means 227 grams for the 8oz. Which means 227 x 100.00 = $22,700
1 ounce = approximately 28.35 grams
lol at ferns instead of FRNs
it's 3am i'll laugh at anything

It costs them six cents to print the bill no matter what number they slap onto it

I think there are extra security features on the larger denominations though, they probably cost more to make than 1 dollar bills I'd imagine.

Fair enough, that statistic was taken when a waterstrip and the detailed imaging was all they used. The security features probably *have* gotten more advanced, I don't keep up, but since it's an interesting question, I will research it tomorrow.

Doesn't really matter what it costs, because the Federal Reserve pays with money they conjure from thin air...
