So basically the east coast (including around the gulf) is underwater, whereas the west coast isn't really affected that much. Of course this is just a hypothetical situation.

Goodbye NYC, Phillie, New Orleans and most of Washington, DC: hmm, sounds like a plan.

Is this imminent?

Is this related to that Planet X and Niburu discussion?

I guess Stockton, CA is no loss.

That's why I'm a mile high.

being on an outer isle of Arizona Bay doesn't sound so bad.

Are you looking at what is underwater with a 60 meter rise or sea level? That's a pretty extreme increase in sea level. You can adjust the increase on the map at the top left.

Don't we have enough things to keep us scared? I'm not gonna worry about sea level rising until it starts to happen. I'm not even going to have any bad dreams about it.

This region corresponds roughly with the large general use area set aside under Agenda 21. I guess the supergeniuses at the top of the pyramid don't know how to read a topographical map.

even at 3 meters, "nawlins" looks screwed

Once upon a time there was a land called Florilala where a stupendously advanced civilization lived. It is said that the people who lived in Florilala were multi colored,... like rainbows with big flaring nostrils and that they traded bagels and MD 20/20, a powerful aphrodisiac, to the heathens in the north.

Much of NOLA is already a few ft. below SL, been that way since it was founded. They've been pumping water out of NOLA since the early 19th century. In a museum there I saw an old hollowed out cypress log used as piping for the pumping in the early 19th century.

if you want waterfront property, buy @ 100 to 200 feet elevation.

as an undergrad, i did a report on how many Hiroshima "Little Boy" size bombs it would take to melt Antarctica enough to raise sea level 135 feet, thereby submerging much of LA.

the professor thought it was hilarious & said i did the specific heat calculations correctly, gave me a B+. i told him, "i just don't like LA".

in hindsight it does seem really stupid.

Half Holland will be wiped off the map with a 2 meter rise. I bet they wish they were a milehi!

Dam, I would almost have some beachfront property! Would only be about 80 or so miles from the sea, instead of the 190 miles
I am now. Fried red snapper here we come!

This explains the move of CIA operations to the Denver Airport.
