After watching a number of these clips, including the one on Putin (he is a Putin apologist), I sent them over to a Belarusian friend to ask what he thought and whether the translations were accurate.

The translation is accurate, but he was not sold on this general. My friend would fit in well around here, we agree politically/economically on every major issue. His words:


I heard this guy to the end. To me it sounds like mixture of old communist propaganda (a handfull number of people own 50% of everything) and contemporary BS. The bottom line of this speach is that those bad guys are gilty that russian people do not have normal economy. All of that to hide the truth than russia does not have normal economy, everything controled by russian government, only 7% of land private. As far as I know no one, including generals, can come out and say what they want. A couple of generals tried that before, both are dead now.

The 2 generals died in helicopter accidents after announcing they would run for political office.

Bottom line is that we all know this, and while I agree with a lot he said, I do not see need to suck up to old USSR propaganda.

Putin is still corrupt. If he were honest, Russia would have a free economy outside Khazar control. It doesn't and that ain't gonna change anytime soon.
