Israel and the pro-Zionist lobby in the US have”a super control” over Turkey which has heavily influenced the recent tensions between Ankara and Damascus, an analyst tells Press TV.

“We have a very pro-Israel, a very pro-Zionist and a super control over Turkey… Turkey is becoming more of a puppet, where in the past they’ve been very closely aligned with Syria,” said former American Intelligence Linguist, Scott Richard, on Saturday.

“Look at Turkish relationships with Israel, there is a lot of trade, military trade and petroleum trade between Israel and Turkey. So the interest from the economic perspective between Israel and Turkey is very strong and also you have to look at the national security advisers in the United States,” Richard added.

The American expert went on to point out that Dov S. Zakheim, the US national security adviser to US Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney, and Richard Verma, the national security adviser to President Barack Obama, are both “extreme Zionists.”


He maintained that the West is becoming “desperate” due to Syria’s remarkable success in confronting Western intervention so they are using their relationships with NATO and Turkey to ‘wage a war and justify it’ but Syria will absolutely not give in to Western-orchestrated plots and attack Turkey.

The comment comes as tensions between Ankara and Damascus escalated after a mortar shell fired from Syria killed five people in the southeastern Turkish town of Akcakale in Sanliurfa Province on Wednesday.

Syria said it had started an investigation into the cause of the mortar attack on the Turkish territory.

However on Thursday, several Syrian soldiers were reportedly killed in a retaliatory attack by Turkish forces on a military post near Syria’s border town of Tel Abyad.

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Thursday that Turkey does not plan to wage a war against Syria after the Turkish parliament gave the nod for military operations outside the country.

“The problem [between Turkey and Syria] is rooted in the United States, Britain and France…. What you have in Turkey is clearly described here as a nation of people that do not want war. Unfortunately you have a government that’s heavily aligned with the NATO forces and… Israel,” Richard concluded.

Outspoken investigative journalist and former CNN correspondent, Amber Lyon voices concern that, through widespread and continual vilification of Iran, the US media is pressing the Americans to approve of a potential conflict with the Islamic Republic.

“United States public is constantly being inundated with reports that are demonizing Iran…I mean it’s all over the nightly news and in the papers, blogs, and in journalistic outlets,” Lyon said from Los Angeles on Monday in an exclusive interview with Press TV.

“…several journalists and experts I have spoken to feel that we are being led into a potential conflict this time, you know, instead of Iraq it being Iran and the public is being fed propaganda continually demonizing Iran and you’re seeing these other stories like Bahrain being covered up and that has some of us worried that the public is being fed this propaganda in order to get the public to approve another conflict with Iran,” Lyon regretted.

“…and then you’re not seeing equal coverage being given to the horrific human rights abuses happening in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.”

In late March 2011, the award-winning journalist was sent to the Persian Gulf island of Bahrain to produce a one-hour-long documentary depicting the importance of social media and technology in the Arab Spring.

The documentary exposed the brutality and aggression waged by Saudi-backed Bahraini regime forces against peaceful protesters. It was aired domestically within the US, but its broadcast on CNN International was suspiciously withheld.

The Anti-Defamation League of B’nai Brith (ADL) has reared its head again in another attack on Press TV Iran and those who appear in that venue. This published projectile out of New York appears as the “ADL Report: Iranian Government’s Press TV Promotes Anti Semitism to Global Audience.”
It must be fairly noted that this latest broadside represents an actual improvement in methods employed by the American domestic wing of the Israeli Mossad intelligence organization. In this new case, at least the ADL has taken public responsibility for the demonization, innuendo, and ad hominem attacks they periodically launch on their opponents.


Such is not always the case. It is a matter of public record that Rabbi Ariel Tuchman, the Director of the Library and Research Center of the ADL in New York, and an Assistant Director of their Civil Rights Division, was deliberately concealing his identity from the public in a series of anonymous assaults being directed against critics of the Israel Lobby and the government of Israel on an Internet site called JHate. That scam was detected and traced. Other anonymous sites of this ilk have surfaced since.


The ADL is obsessed with what it defines as Hate Speech. The charge of Hate Speech comes into play any time the Zionist enterprise is criticized, or the ADL and its sister organizations in the Israeli Lobby are criticized or challenged. This term and its employment are absolutely Orwellian in scope. What the ADL is truly opposed to is Free Speech and the free exchange of ideas in the national and international public marketplaces of information and analysis. (I understand that my current targeting by their New York headquarters had as much to do this time with my conversations with Fars News Agency of Iran, including my chats with Fars on Israel’s role in anti-Islamic Defamation; the connections of Israel and The Lobby to the MEK Delisting Campaign; and worst of all, Israel’s role in the events of 9-11.)


Why is this so? The reason is simple and obvious. The ADL cannot stand on its own record which includes the Stalinist profiling dossiers their New York office develops on American political dissidents for subsequent distribution and use by their Regional Offices in the United States, the news media, and most ominously of all, both Federal and State governments. In 2002, the San Francisco Superior Court awarded former Congressman Pete McCloskey a $150,000 court judgment against the ADL in a illegal domestic spying case. In March of 2001, a U. S. District Judge upheld a $10.5 million judgment against the ADL in a defamation of character litigation that saw the ADL convicted in April of 2000 by a Federal Jury in Denver.

As for Turkey and war with Syria, yes the Turkish population is very much against it. The government is increasingly Sunni extremist, has dreams of a revival of the Ottoman empire. They supply the foreign mercenaries in Syria with weapons and shelter with hospitals on the Turkish side of the Syrian border. I expect further false flag attacks here...
