on a lark. i always listen to the patriot radio news hour, it's my fav show in the world, and i've always fely a tad guilty for not ever buying anything from them and supporting the business. last week, they had a deal where you get 3 SAEs, 1 from each mint that is making them this year. ms-70, first strike, graded by pcgs. paid $230 for them (totally overpriced, but i did it to support patriot). kind of excited to get something other than stacks of ntr metal for once. :p

they're probably worth $100 for all of them, but that wasn't the point of it. i felt i needed to support the show, since i've listened to it everyday going on 10 years. plus, i will probably give them away as cool xmas gifts this year. :D

yep, that's them. eric cedarstrom and joe jaquint (his nephew through marriage); they're the owners (small gold + silver company). there's the two of them and wendy that answers the phones. sometimes their wives work their as well. awesome, awesome, awesome show.

Wonder if there is a relationship to Melody Cedarstrom http://www.discountgoldandsilvertrading.net/ . She has a 5 day a week radio program as well with Alfred Adask. She used to have Bob Chapman of the international forecaster on all the time (now deceased).

ha! me as well, haven't listened to rbn since bob died. i heard via patriot that robby noel had a heart attack recently, may have to tune in to the flipside to see if he's okay.

Looks like he is joining Jeff Bennett (the guy that replaced Robby when he moved back to Africa who he then replaced again).

Is Robby still on RBN? I will have to listen either next Tuesday to see if he is still on Stadtmillers headline show. Maybe I will check Thursday and see if his 6:00 show is still going. I won't be available tomorrow.

Life is short. .....so get the things you really like from time to time.

One of deepest enjoyments is picking up Benchmade knives.The price on them is ridiculous but it makes me happy and i could certainly have worst vices in this world.

Bottom line is you took fake money and traded it for something of value and supported decent folk at the same time. Its very hard to pull a win off for everybody like that.

looks as if robby & jeff must have had a tiff with douchemiller. paul drockton is running republic trading now, and jeff & robby are doing something called flying eagle. all references to rbn removed from robby's site. wonder what happened.
