Cleveland Bus Driver Suspended After Decking Unruly Female Rider With Brutal Bolo Punch

A Cleveland municipal bus driver has been suspended after video surfaced this week showing him decking a mouthy female rider with a bolo punch.

The confrontation between the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) worker and the unidentified woman was apparently filmed by another rider. It is unclear from the above clip, however, what triggered the dispute.

The driver of bus 2802 leaves his seat after the woman appears to strike him. "You going to jail now," the driver says twice before throwing an uppercut that knocks the woman to the ground.

The driver then throws the woman off the stopped bus, though she climbs back aboard and tussles with him. "She want to be a man, I'm gonna treat you like a man," the driver announces at one point.

RTA officials believe the fight occurred on September 18. The unidentified driver was suspended this week, with city officials describing his behavior as "absolutely unacceptable." In a press statement, the agency added, "RTA apologizes to our customers for this incident. A full investigation continues."

REGARDING DONATIONS: First, there seem to be some people claiming they know him and will take the money to him. Don't trust that. Unless they can prove they actually have contact with him, they are bastards.

Second, he doesn't need rent money. He has Section 8 Social Security. He just needs a place to give that money too. It isn't a lot, but all he needs is to find a place. It's extremely hard to do when you're 64 and homeless.

You can only imagine what she would have done to some poor innocent bus rider who was not so tough and street wise as the bus driver was.

I agree except that she is past the beyotch stage. This kind of insane chimpout behavior
is more akin to a beast. Ugh. She doesn't know how to act anymore like a person is supposed to,

How do you deal with somebody trying to kill you on the road? I'm struggling.

I think it's a case of some people are lucky that we don't carry guns and some people are unluckly that we don't carry guns.

When this guy actually got a police officer on the phone she was telling him to go to the nearest police station. Now she might know where they are but most of us don't pay much attention. Maybe you know where your local one is, but I don't know where one is 30 miles across town. Anyway I hear to guy is going to hand himself in.

yep. Was talking to someone yesterday. They are sporting a plaster cast on a limb. turns out someone arguing with a cabbie, either about getting a ride or paying for one, went troppo in the street. They had just arrived, guy storms across traffic and slams then them into a shop facade. Guy just flipped out.
