Only took me 2 hours to put everything together, but for the batteries......the fins are only 1/2 inch attached to the 3" X 5" generator is producing 24 V ........I thought that it was going to be 12 v.
So that now I have 16 15v solar pannls and one 120v solar panel and the 24v water wheel......it works directly from the water hose...........it consist of a five gallons water bucket with a hole in the center for the shaft of the generator is inside of the bucket, the shaft on the other side of the bucket, outside, with the 1/2 fins attached to it..........remember that the water is from a kreek one mile from my home, by gravity and for free :) ........someday when a learn how to post a picture I will do so :(

Looking forward to pix. If you could attach one or two to an email addy recepient you trust, then maybe THEY would put it up for all of us to enjoy. Sounds ingenious. Did you employ any camo on the trek from the creek 1m away?

Underground 3/4 inch pipe all the way from the creek to my home........it was put in place by the previous owner and it took him two months to do so.......once a year I back flush the pipe from my home, with my air preassure tank, to dislodge anything that might have arrested inside........before using the water to fill my 2,500 gallons water tank i let the water run freely for a couple of hours to make sure that only clean water will go into my water tank.....I am very happy with my set up.
About a week ago I recieved this and today with two large, empty, coffe cans I set it up.......this one will go in my pick up with the rest of my travelers equipment............. http://www.homespunenvironmental.com/ ..
I also have the larger long ceramic filters installed in a five gallons buckets with another bucket at the bottom to recieve the clean water.....that one is inside of a large garbage bag and put away.

How deep are the pipes buried?
is 1 fill-up of your 2500gal enough to last you during the hard winter pipe freeze up over on the left coast?

Underground from 2-8 feet and it never freezes....... also remember that from the 2,500 tank it goes first into the 550 tank and then to a water filter in the garage and the under the kitchen sink water filter and then into the table water jar with a build in filter and then, and then, and the........it all comes out whe I have to get up six times a night.
In summer I turn off my the power for my water heater and take a bath outside from the 550 gallons water tank, sometimes is so danm hot that I have to use a water hose to add cold water to cool is some......I also take a bucket to do the dishes in the kitchen and three buckets for my washer.....my electric bill goes down about $6.00 in summer......this is also a good practice for WTSHTF......by doing now I will ready later.

How much electricity in Watts does it generate aprox...?

Sorry buddy but I am to stupid to figure that out, all that I can tell you is what the volt meter reads.......now that is is 24v intead of 12v I have to learn how to use that......two cables going to two different 12v betteries? something to reduce the 24v to 12v so that I can connected directly to the 12v battery?........I'll worry about it when I have time, righ now I am concentrating on cases about Land Patent..............found three of them where it say the you don't have to pay taxes.
The only see that I foresee is that if the Judge rules in my favor then that would open the flood gate for the rest of the American people by setting a presedence and then all the cities would go broke......I don't think that the Judges want that.

Yes, connect the two batteries in series (you connect to a +pole on one battery and a -pole on the other, and you runs cord between the other poles of the batteries).
If you have an ampere meter, you can measure the current from the generator, if you get say 3 A, then that means you get 3x24=72 Watts...

Then my meter has a A reader?.......I have about 6 of those meters with 3 of them with the electronic, only use the ones with the needle and only to check my batteries and my 12v cables.....by the way, you are right (of course you are) about the connections, I forgot about that one :(

I wouldn't know if your meters has an A reader, but it is not unlikely, have a look!

2-8 feet deep? That's a lot of digging, almost a mile distance from a creek? Impressive. I agree, that wouldn't be in any freeze danger. Earthquake might snap that pipe maybe, but freezing should not cause it to burst.
Must have been done back in the day before keyhole satellites ratted out everyone doing what needed to be done. Does it cross any property lines, and create any danger of someone cutting off that water supply? Thought about digging your own well?

The guy who sold me the land got an easement from the former owner of the property but it was never registerd, the new owner tried to kick me out, even thou the line only crosses under her property till it hits BLM land where it then goes into the creek.........back is 2004 there was only 1/4 of an inch of water in the creek and I was the only one getting water because mine was the highest one................anyway, the jedge at the small claim court said that "the easement goes with the purchase of the land" so that even if it was never registered it was legal.....and ......... been here now for 12.5 years and 10 years is the only time in which you can do something and she didn't......my water is legal and the pipe is legal.........happy Ponce is here .
By the way, found this about my Land Patent.........veryyyyyyyy interesting:
When congress has prescribed the conditions upon which portions of the public domain may be alienated (to convey, to transfer), and has provided that upon the fulfillment of the conditions the United States shall issue a patent to the purchaser, then such land is not taxable by a state. Sargent v Herrick & Stevens, 221 Us 404: Northern P,R. Co. v Trail County , 115 US 600
and also this one.....the judge will have no choice but to follow the law:
The law alone must be the fountain from whence the authority is drawn; and there can be no other source. [I Scam. Ill. 344, 367 (1837)]

Sounds like the water gods are smiling on you, Ponce. Keep us posted on that land patent deal of yours. I'd say, "Good Luck" but somehow, I think you made your OWN luck when you acquired that parcel of land!

You must realise that the house was sitting here empty for eight years and it waesn't even listed any longer...and the year before I bought it they took the house apart and put it back together again but for the frame and the roof, new walls, douple glas windows, rugs, bathroom, everything in the kitchen, all the pipes, lamps and ceiling fans, water heather, wood stove, chimney, door (main doors are now metal)........me and the real state agent saw it while going to see another property, as we were driving by I say to him "That's the one, that's the house that I want".....there was a for sale sign laying on the ground so that we walked to it and copy the phone number........three days later I gave the guy a bag of cash and it was mine.........this is not my house, this is my home....and my last resting place because I am going to be burried at the back corner of my property.......50 fet down and encased in concrete with all my ID's, ten gold Maple Leaft and ten one oz silver rounds............my friend Agnut will see to it :)
I was hoping to live to be 132 (no particular reason) there is a lot of changes that I want to see.....but......I'll probably be shoot right here.........will be making a lot of trouble with my Land Patent hahahahahaahahahaha

Hey Neuro?, or a electrician............my meter has a "DC A", I hope that's what you are talkin about..........
I put the dial on 300m and the needle went to 20 OHMS........with 24v
So, what I made is good or bad? Shoud I do something with it or put it with the rest of my junks?
Thanks........
PS: The pyramid will be below my body so that it will remain the same till I am found once again and revive hahahahahah.

Ponce be careful, never have your meter set to measure ohms and then try to measure a power source. You will blow the fuse, (if it has one) or the meter. The (A) on your meter is for amps, Now how many can it measure depends on the meter and scale used.
If you look at your meter you should have a common ground for the black lead, that usually stays in place, and where the red lead is plugged in that port is for volts and ohms.
You should have a third port that has a A or Ma marking, plug the red lead into that port.
This video may help you, sorry it is not in Cuban.... LoL
