(CBSMiami) – A popular Miami rapper was shot to death in front of a Liberty City car wash Monday evening. Now police are trying to figure out what led to this deadly shooting.

Robert Labranche, known to fans as “Bizzle,” was shot around 8 p.m. at 770 NW 54th Street. Two of his children were in the car just feet away when he was murdered; neither child was hurt.

As word of the shooting spread, hundreds of family members and friends went to the scene of the shooting.

“You can see it man, he’s loved everywhere, everywhere, he’s a lovable guy,” said Robert Parker. “It happened in front of his kids, it’s a tragedy, it’s sad, it’s real sad.”

At one point, police were forced to move the crowd back after family members rushed past the crime tape toward the body.

“All I ask is whoever did it, they gotta turn themselves in,” said Parker.

Labranche is not associated with Mark J. Felder, a Houston, Texas-based rapper who also goes by the name “Bizzle.”

Anyone with information on the shooting is urged to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at (305) 471-TIPS.

I think what it is, is when living in a world surrounded by violence, folks tend to get desensitized, used to it. When bullets are flying around everyday in your neighborhood, people seem to think it's normal, actually.

One kid comes to mind, nice kid. Shot 3 times by a .45 ACP, and he was calm, coherent, and actually a pleasure to talk to, relaxed, as the ambulance was enroute and he sat there bleeding with bullet holes. Gave a full description and a good statement of what happened.

Another time, we caught a guy, gun in hand, one block from going to murder someone. His intended victim was outside, oblivious of what was coming his way. Probably the one thing I smile and feel like I did some good, stopping a shooting from happening. The 'victim' said something to the guy's girlfriend. The girlfriend said quote "go to the car, get the gun, and kill him." The guy went to do just that. The only reason we intervened, because some bystander heard her say that, and told us. That bystander saved a life.

What a world we live in.

You say that using facts, you would make the judgement to carry. But what do you think I am using? I use crime statistics and personal experience blacks are 12% of the population and 58% of the crime and in my personal experience it is very much a case of around blacks don't relax.

This is no different than if I am working cows, if I'm on the ground with them in a pen I have my guard way up and always ready, that said if a cow is friendly (ours are) I will pet it all day. That is up to the cow, not up to me I know I am not going to snap and shoot the bull for no reason, but I don't that he won't attack me.

As to your question, from what I have seen of your personality over the years you seem to be an optimist and I think it is just in your DNA to be that way. We are all familiar with Personal Love as a deep, tender, ineffable feeling of affection we have toward people, pets, or treasured items in our lives. With personal love we can lapse into our lower emotions and hold grudges against others, or concentrate on suffering. In doing so we hinder the effectiveness of our love in relationships, as well as, our own wellbeing.

However, if we allow ourselves to focus on Divine or Unconditional Love, we can learn to look at our glass of life, as being half full, instead of being half empty. In this way we can learn to transform our lower emotions of anger, jealousy, envy and greed into something positive. Pure, Unconditional Love, works without expectation, or attachment to the outcome, and asks for nothing in return. It’s radiant light can resist and overcome every other energy it encounters, for it is the binding force of the universe.

So how do we bridge the gap between Personal Love and Unconditional Love? The first step in this mighty process is learning how to love and accept yourself for who you are. The second step is to expect love in your life, in all your relationships, and with everyone else you encounter. Here we must remember the Universal Law that says energy follows thought. If we think it, it will happen! Finding goodness in others will help you achieve your own goals, by attracting the same to you. The third step is to work for the highest good of all, by surrendering all your expectations to Spirit.(or your favorite Divine Diety)

Obviously, you will need to do an enormous amount of inner work to find true, Unconditional Love in your life. However, an exercise I have found most valuable in shifting my vibration and consciousness is to silently or verbally chant Divine Love for five minutes to an indefinite amount of time. You will be amazed at how quickly your mood shifts to one of peace, and the outcome of any situation becomes favorable to all concerned. When we have Love in our heart, life becomes a joy to behold!

The act of Forgiveness helps us to develop and nourish Love in our lives. Releasing blame and judgment of others is imperative to succeed, for Forgiveness is a spiritual initiative grounded in the humility of accepting that we don’t always need to be right. When we use our emotions or intellect as a rational explanation to forgive, we fail to see the very essence of what we are trying to achieve. When you live out in the country, like you do, too, the men are still real men. IMO.
While growing up and seeing fights it always seemed that the unstable person threw the first punch due to lack of control over himself.
I hate violence terribly and hate fighting unless it is to defend yourself from your attacker.
If someone is being verbally aggressive online or in person you have to be on the same level of their intelligence to debate with them.
Or on the same level of logic or awareness-- something along those lines, if not its just better to let it go, ignore it & just walk away from it rather than to argue with them.
But if one chooses to argue with them , let thy brains/logic be thy fists cuz threatening a coldcock only fuels the fire.
Men have emotions, too, and need to control them.

When 2 people are on opposites sides & see NOTHING with the same eyes because different people see things totally diffrerently then there
will never be a truce and that is life.
When I see someone smarter or more awake arguing with someone less smarter/wiser, less awake than they are---they are WASTING THEIR TIME.
Same with physical fighting-- it's a waste of time and better to walk away unless to defend your person. Too much at risk.

If anything, it feels more righteous even after making an erroneous decision based upon, and leaves little (if any) traces.
