could have bougth 300 oz of silver...instead goes for the HFCS

Feeling nostalgic for McDonald's McJordan burger of 1992 (you know, the one named after Michael Jordan)?

If so, a gallon jug of the barbecue sauce can be yours for just $9,995 on eBay. If you want to re-create the burger at home after purchasing the sauce, it had cheese, onion, pickles, barbecue sauce and bacon.

As of this writing, there have been 22 offers, but nearly all of them have been declined.

UPDATE 10/16: It has been sold!

Here are the ingredients:

Wow and only 3 carcinogens in that sauce.

HFCS
Natural Flavours
Caramel color

Possibly modified food starch, what ever that is.

That's a knockoff sauce! It does not contain the key flavor ingredient: powdered Michael Jordan toenail clippings.

This guy should demand a refund.

I am glad to see he didn't buy the "special sauce".

You forgot soybean oil, though I don't know how likely it was to be GMO back in 1992. Today it would be 100%.

Soybean oil, GMO or not is still bad for you. It messes with your thyroid and is an estrogen receptor..

Which is exactly why I avoid it.

No soy in the BT household.

I think Michael Jordan was the one who bought it. He probably wanted something with his name on it that didn't smell like a shoe.

Props to the seller who recognized the potential value of this sauce, and refused to sell for less.

That very generic looking label looks like it would be VERY simple to re-create...

well, you have to admit - it's cheaper than a used Madonna Kleenex or Tampon.
