I wanted to share this here. I've been interviewed twice on this radio program about two wrongful conviction cases in my area. Well, tonight the host is covering the Greg Taylor case. He spent 17 years in prison and was finally cleared in 2010 by the Innocence Commission. He was convicted on tainted blood evidence. The SBI agent lied and said it was positive for human blood - it was not. There was also a jailhouse snitch who later recanted. This is a common ploy by investigators. They work out a deal with a convict to snitch on someone and in return they get a lighter sentence. It is a win-win for them to lie to help convict people.
In the Taylor case, the victim's sister believed in his innocence. Both she and Taylor will be phoning into the program. I helped set this show up. It should be very interesting. Tonight (in two hours) 6PM eastern
