thats pretty quick IMO. I think there's some stuff that we've been waiting for 2000 years to hear. I'd like to know the demographics of those 2 cities.

I recall reading that there were large Christian populations there. There was certainly no 'military value' to the two targets.

And to think a Freemason was the one who ultimately made the decision to drop those two A-bombs. Hmmm...

If you are really looking closely, you can tell before it happens.

There was probably a deal struck before hand to move the remaining survivors to New Datsun & Sony manuf. plants.

I think they like to slowly release this stuff via rumors and then snippets of info.
Takes the shock value away and kills any headlines.
Tons of stuff from WWII is still classified.

they dropped the 2 bombs on japan for 1 reason: they knew the war was over and the cold war with russia was about to begin. dropping the bombs was a display to russia of our military might. it had nothing to do with defeating japan.

"One theory is that scientists like to play with their toys:

On September 9, 1945, Admiral William F. Halsey, commander of the Third Fleet, was publicly quoted extensively as stating that the atomic bomb was used because the scientists had a “toy and they wanted to try it out . . . .” He further stated, “The first atomic bomb was an unnecessary experiment . . . . It was a mistake to ever drop it.”

that begins to get to it.

they wanted to play with their war toys.

there may also have been an element of ritual human sacrifice involved - they wanted to see what happens when an atom bomb is used to kill human beings.

this was their one chance. once the war ended, they lost their justification.

as Evil as Evil gets.

Interesting story by GW. Considering we have a thread where he is probably c.o. somewhere.

So we did it to impress Russia?

What about Major Jordan's Diaries and the lend lease program? Maybe it was showing off what was to be Russia's newest weapon?

I balk at the idea that the scientists were all about dropping the bomb. They are not the ones that control the logistics to get it done.

I thought this was a better covered up story that Makow just posted.

http://www.henrymakow.com/nazis-knew-about-normandy.html

More America soldiers died in a D-Day rehearsal April 27-28, 1944, than on June 6 at Utah Beach. Attacks by Nazis torpedo boats and "friendly" fire took as many as 1500 American lives. The debacle was hushed up for 50 years.

The memorandums Memorandums written in 1930s Imperial Japan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Empire_of_Japan) proposed settling Jewish refugees (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jewish_refugees) escaping Nazi-occupied Europe in Japanese-controlled territory. As interpreted by Tokayer and Swartz,[clarification needed (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Please_clarify)] they proposed that large numbers of Jewish refugees should be encouraged to settle in Manchukuo (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manchukuo) or Japan-occupied Shanghai (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shanghai),[1] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fugu_Plan#cite_note-0) thus gaining the benefit of the supposed economic prowess of the Jews and also convincing the United States, and specifically American Jewry (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_the_Jews_in_the_United_States), to grant political favor and economic investment into Japan. The idea was partly based on the acceptance of the The Protocols of the Elders of Zion (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Protocols_of_the_Elders_of_Zion) as being as a genuine document by at least part of the Japanese leadership.[2] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fugu_Plan#cite_note-etymology-1)
The detailed scheme included how the settlement would be organized and how Jewish support, both in terms of investment and actual settlers, would be garnered. In June and July 1939, the memorandums "Concrete Measures to be Employed to Turn Friendly to Japan the Public Opinion Far East Diplomatic Policy Close Circle of President of USA by Manipulating Influential Jews in China," and "The Study and Analysis of Introducing Jewish Capital" came to be reviewed and approved by the top Japanese officials in China.
Methods of attracting both Jewish and American favor were to include the sending of a delegation to the United States, to introduce American rabbis (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rabbi) to the similarities between Judaism (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Judaism) and Shinto (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shinto), and the bringing of rabbis back to Japan in order to introduce them and their religion to the Japanese. Methods were also suggested for gaining the favor of American journalism (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Journalism) and Hollywood (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hollywood).
The majority of the documents were devoted to the settlements, allowing for the settlement populations to range in size from 18,000, up to 600,000. Details included the land size of the settlement, infrastructural arrangements, schools, hospitals etc. for each level of population. Jews in these settlements were to be given complete freedom of religion (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freedom_of_religion), along with cultural and educational autonomy. While the authors were wary of affording too much political autonomy, it was felt that some freedom would be necessary to attract settlers, as well as economic investment.
The Japanese officials asked to approve the plan insisted that while the settlements could appear autonomous, controls needed to be placed to keep the Jews under surveillance. It was feared that the Jews might somehow penetrate into the mainstream Japanese government and economy, influencing or taking command of it in the same way that they, according to the forged Protocols of the Elders of Zion, had done in many other countries. The world Jewish community (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jewish_diaspora) was to fund the settlements and supply the settlers.

The American and British Governments Knew – Down to the Day – of the Coming Japanese Attack on Pearl Harbor … and Let It Happen To Justify American Entry Into WWII

Military Officers and Code Breakers Speak Out … On Camera Preface: We don’t contest that World War II was – in many ways – a “good war”.
The Nazis, imperial Japanese and fascist Italians were nasty folks trying to take over the world, who brutalized millions within their own borders and in the nations they occupied.
But a full and honest account of World War II shows that some big American banks funded the Nazis (http://www.washingtonsblog.com/2012/07/big-banks-funded-the-nazis-and-launched-a-coup-against-the-president-of-the-united-states.html). And America dropped nuclear bombs on Japan when top U.S. military officials said it wasn’t needed (http://www.washingtonsblog.com/2012/10/the-real-reason-america-used-nuclear-weapons-against-japan-to-contain-russian-ambitions.html).
And – as shown below – we probably knew about the coming Pearl Harbor attack, but let it happen to justify America’s entry into World War II.
The White House apparently had – a year before Pearl Harbor – launched an 8-point plan to provoke Japan into war against the U.S. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McCollum_memo) (including, for example, an oil embargo). The rationale for this provocation is that the U.S. wanted to aid its allies in fighting the Nazis and other axis powers, and decided that an attack by Japan would be the most advantageous justification for the U.S. to enter WWII.
Moreover, Honolulu newspapers warned of a possible attack by the Japanese on Pearl Harbor:

I just watched "the atom strikes" on my laptop today while waiting for my car to get fixed.

One thing I found notable was near the middle they asked this priest to give his account of the bomb exploding. The tone of the interviewer set off a few signals for me for some reason, then they gave him a script to read afterwards on how it was a really good thing they dropped the bomb, and my initial observations were confirmed. Propaganda script.
