Yea, and think of this, what did it look like while in the living body?

What the picture shows is the metal after the body was reduced to ash!

Hot enough to burn bone, but not hot enough to melt the metal, but I bet it was hot enough
for the metal to be very malleable and at a good red heat.

For that guy to carry that load for all of these years and not complain, the guy must had a giant pair
of solid gold ones.

Guy was lucky none of that stuff moved during those years. Weird isn't it, that someone would not go and get that stuff taken out at all?

I don't believe it.

There is no frickin way someone could get blasted by that and still have a leg. I suspect that what happened was the crematorium had a collection of metal parts from the last 200 bodies and essentially said- here yuh go... find the bullet.

What is the house doctors take on this?

Doesn't really resemble shrapnel.

There have been stranger things (I think?), but quite possibly you're right.

It would be interesting to get some scale on those items. See how big they really are.

It is hard to believe ........looks like a whole scrap yard.....

I think I figured out the scale. If you look at the 2 and 3 o'clock positions you can see two Robertson screws.

The old guy probably said, as in the words of Monty python...........it's only a flesh wound.....

Actually, toss in a few pennies, and it looks pretty much exactly like what I usually get from an afternoon of metal detecting.

Most of those metal parts look like cervical/spinal pins. That would be more than a few bodies.... and they would be pretty "old school". Perhaps doc has some experience in seeing these things?
