It is an incredibly energy consuming process to make petrol out of carbon dioxide in the air. First you need to capture the 0.038% of CO2, you need to use a lot of energy to make CO and H out of water and then to make hydrocarbon out of that.

This is pure madness! Can't someone make petrol out of the bodies that are behind this idiocy?

This is the result of liberalism, militant environmentalism and an ignorance of basic thermodynamics and chemistry. I guess you don't need science when your intentions are good.

Heck, Soylent Green was a solid chip, maybe they could use the oils and liquids from the "raw" material to make petrol!

That would bring another meaning to the term "fossil" fuels!

Meanwhile HEMP can power ANYTHING, it can make ANYTHING, it is a almost FREE renewable power/food source and it will biodegrade back into the earth. HEMP would cripple the biggest industries OVERNIGHT.

Not to mention the FACT that the internal combustion engine is the most eneffiecient means of making power around. 80% of all of the energy in gasoline is LOST TO HEAT. FACT!

Stop following scientific quackery meant to keep you a prole while the capstone seizes all resources, and drops crumbs off of their table for us.

FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!

I suspect it would be easier to extract hydrogen from water than petrol from air.

Your last video is the way forward IMO, use aluminum as a medium to create Hydrogen from water. I don't know exactly how it's done, but if you can release the chemical energy stored in pure aluminum, by making it an aluminum oxide, and get hydrogen to power whatever you want (welding, engine or even a shotgun), and you can recycle the aluminum oxide into aluminum with as little as 50% energy loss, you certainly have a great battery. Exactly how do you get this reaction to occur?
