Can anyone suggest a decent tobacco tube injector machine. My wife is wanting to save money by making her own cigarettes but doesn't know anything about what is available and desireable. In looking online I have read that the electric machines are unreliable and won't make a decently packed smoke that will keep it's ember from falling out. Any knowledge would be appreciated.

Just use a little hand roller. One at a time, non-filter. Use good tobacco. You will smoke less and enjoy it more. You will never go back to packaged chemical sticks.

Libertytree should chime in soon. He should be able to help you.

She will need to know of a good tobacco to buy and where available. She's been changing brands to more affordable as the years progressed and not happy with the smokes available.

I currently smoke American Spirit. Dark Blue Pouch. Fed taxes on loose tobacco increased greatly in the last 6 months to bring the prices more in line with chemical sticks. It's not the best, but it is the best I have found that is the most available.
You can also try milder pipe tobacco. That is a little different in flavor. Head to a pipe shop and sample.

I've just been informed that the local smoke shop will let her try out their offerings so we may stop in there tommorow. Smokes are costing her about 6 bucks a pack right now and they have all sorts of additives and a non-burn strip in them. What the hell is in that strip?
Just got back from a job in New York. The guys were complaining that smokes where around $10 a pack. Wow! I quit back in 82 when smokes where about 80 cents a pack in Michigan. I still smoke in my dreams.

Thats how much a pack they are down here. I think thats for 25's. I chucked the habit when they were 1/3 that. Long time ago now. Do the odd cigar, as I've posted about. Amounts to maybe 2 or so a year.
What about the Top O Matic?
This lady really does a good job selling me on the Top O Matic.

I can embed videos if I save and then edit. It's an improvement.

Thanks Glass. That video was hilarious. I think they smoked something else before doing the vid.

She should also look into the e-cig.

Almost 7 months without a cigarette for me.
Vaping is a fun hobby also.

I bought her the Premeir Supermatic and a large bag of light 'tobbaccer', as the lady in that awesome video calls it. That really is a funny vid. I had to watch it again. "We'll get these 'government bastards'."
Methinks once everyone is rolling their own they will find a way to outlaw it altogether and thus make mucho money from it's prohibition.

The supermatic is a nice machine. That's what I use. It will break on occasion from overstuffing or if sticky tobacco gets stuck in it, and it is all serviceable. Just a wrench needed and you are back in business. All metal parts.
