Very good. Very true. Everyone knows this as reality. Sadly, things will not be much better under the mormon.

um-um, very sad but I also would tend to think that many businesses expanded during credit induced boom years, then went belly up because they had over extended themselves. Credit contraction is painful.... so many have fallen prey of the scam of the millennium

Its a very similar story to the Engineering company I worked for in L.V. From the year 2000 to 2007 they went from 4 employees to 35, and we're thinking of expanding into other markets around then, I left at that point as I saw the house of cards.

They were back down to 5 or 6 employees last year, not sure if they still survive this year.

Rediculas, Obama didn't take them down.

Maybe they need to look at what the wonderful Ronald Reagan campaigned for, Geroge H W Bush signed off, and Bill (the liar under oath) Clinton signed into law...it was called NAFTA!

Maybe they should look at what Bush Jr. didn't do to stop the housing collapse and the corruption by Wall Street bankers that caused the collapse?

Maybe they didn't realize that presidents are only puppets taking orders?

Maybe the Roto-Rooter people shouldn't have over-extended themselves on a big home and paid it off while they were knocking down 4 million a year?

Maybe they thought everything would keep plugging along forever as we saw all our jobs being outsourced by the corporations that run this country?

Maybe the kids could have gotten jobs to help the parents out...maybe they could have saved the home and the car?

Maybe they shouldn't think the Plutocrat Corporatist Mitt Romney will fix shit?

Maybe they still don't know that republicans and democrats are just corporations only working for the corporations interests?

Maybe they shouldn't watch Fox news anymore?

Maybe they should blame themselves?

I kinda agree EE_ , at the boom, we had 10 guys working for us..... I only have 2 and myself now, I have always been good with money cause I have never had any, and while my husband was buying this and that, I stashed it away and paid off all that bought stuff ......

Because I knew and know the bottom will always fall out, its construction...... it always does.

Edit to add; I don't have any use for Obama or Romney, they all have their own agenda, sometimes I think though that Romney would be better for business, I don't know.

IMO Mitt for Brains WILL be 'better for business' at least in the near term up until he kicks off WW3 for his lover Bibi.

I wouldn't expect any business improvement under either Romney, or Obama.

Romney would only get a temporary investment boost from the last sap of real investment money in the U.S.

Which would then burn & vanish somewhere in a pagan ritual on Wall Street

It's sad they put all their savings, retirement, and inheritance money into the failing business. They had a successful business for 25 years and they come out penniless? You can't blame all that on Obama. Some of it is just having the sense to cut your losses, save cash and physical, and adapt to change.

But on the other hand it's true that out of 10 such businesses, a portion will survive but not all can survive. Their spectacular implosion and others like them is probably what's propping things up for the more financially savvy ones.

America isn't business friendly, tell me something I don't know.

This misled woman who is probably too emotionally distraught to know better would have use jump from the frying pan to the fire. I'm to the point where I nearly want to strangle the next person who tells me "but Romneys a businessman, he knows how to save this economy" Fools.....

"but Romneys a businessman, he knows how to save this economy"

imo Mitt for Brains will be 'good for the economy' in the near term simply due to the perception going on with this sort of comment. The illusion will remained propped up for a short period of time, but then look out 'cause here it comes - WHAM! ww3
