What possible incentive could you have to give away a round of bullion in exchange for someone downloading your book for free? Wouldn't it make more sense to just let people download the book, and stop there?

Sounds too good to be true. Someone offering people who he don't know to download his book for free, and offers free silver coins in a draw. HuntIII, is this your way of promoting the book to get it too best seller status? A marketing ploy? Or is it some type of data collection effort?

I don't know what to make of the OP ? ? ?
I went to get the book to critique it, I downloaded kindle app on my ipad,
then amazon wants some info, they already have my info, but I decided
I don't want them in my ipad. Out the kindle app goes. If I had a kindle
I would of got the free book it looks like. The OP may deserve some credit,
it is late in the game for the majority of us here, but noobs out there are just
learning, I made lots of mistakes buying silver back when and even overpaid
a bit, later I traded my SI for better holdings of Eagles/Maples.

This lesson is going to explain an incredibly misunderstood concept, the concept of rapport.

Rapport is one of the most important parts of being human. Its simply having something in common: being on the same wavelength as someone else, or being "in Sync"wit the girl you are chatting with.

Rapport happens when your subconscious mind realizes that the girl you're talking with is on your side. Rapport is being in a state of cooperation, you definitely don't want to neg or tease when you are in rapport with a girl.

So in the first five minutes of the conversation, I want you attracting the girl. Teasing her, push/pulling, flirting, misinterpreting, being playful etc.

Once you do this and see she is attracted to you, then its time for rapport building.

The 2 kinds of conversational rapport are deep rapport and wide rapport.

Deep rapport is basically taking the conversation to a deeper level that is based on feelings. When you and the girl get into deep rapport, you've dug down to a super deep level of a certain conversational subject. To really create deep rapport, its essential that you agree on the way the thing you're talking about makes you feel.

That's why its easy to create a deep rapport using "Sensory Language".

Deep rapport still can be achieved even if you disagree on the topic, but you just have to agree on the overall feelings.

For instance, I sometimes will ask the girl if she likes skiing or snowboarding better. Whatever her answer is, I intentionally disagree with her about the better sport but then I say that I agree with her that being outdoors on the mountain is an awesome feeling.

Now on the other hand, Wide Rapport is simply being able to be on the same page with the girl over a ton of conversational subjects. This is why I LOVE learning a little about a lot of things!

If you are familiar with "Multiple Threading", this is a great example of how you can accomplish wide rapport.

Getting wide rapport with a girl does not mean you agree with every single word she says, that will only make you a brown noser. The best way to do it is to bring up things you're interested in that you also think she'll like. For instance, if you love the Killers and the girl is wearing a killers tshirt, bring it up!

I traded at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, before they merged with the Chicago Board of Trade. I'm sure the manipulation at the CME is the similar.
When they would catch manipulators, everything would be hush hush. The Merc dealt with everything internally and made nothing public.

You will find (if you stick around) that the core of this forum is composed of individualists, freedom lovers, and people who believe in trading value for value... not seeking out marketing promotions and "free shit".

If you want to sell something its a good idea to establish yourself in a community. I'll give you some examples.

You should look into the work BrotherJohnF does (website (http://www.brotherjohnf.com/) / YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/user/BrotherJohnF).) He makes videos about Silver a lot an explains SOME things well to people who don't understand things (meaning he does some good things.) Another example would be Greg Mannarino (http://www.youtube.com/user/GregVegas5909) who already sells books (http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_0_9?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=greg+mannarino&sprefix=greg+mann%2Caps%2C284). Another example is "Silver Shied" (Chris Duane) who is a former member of our community who left to do his own thing (website (http://dont-tread-on.me) / YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/user/TruthNeverTold).) I'm posting these examples NOT since I agree with these people (I think they are all frauds and full of crap to different degrees), but since I believe they have a successful business model. Basically these people ESTABLISH themselves in the community and get a following. Then they ESTABLISH themselves as gurus based on the knowledge that's rubbed off on them (even though they don't know crap and get their information by lurking at forums like this one were the real info is discovered/developed/discussed.) I think they believe a lot of their own bullshit too so it makes them very convincing to a lot of people. I'm not trying to be negative, since they do good too, but people who get into leadership positions in ANY community typically are scumbags. That's why I like forum communities like this one since you don't find many scumbags here, just people who are self-made and self-educated.

Most people don't have the patience to become part of a forum community and contribute/absorb all the information and "culture" I guess you could say. Most people don't read anymore (I don't read books.) Most people watch YouTube videos these days, at least those who know how to use the Internet. A lot of these people want to be lead, and not think on their own (just like in real life!) They don't want to research these things for years and come to their own conclusions. I could write tons of books on many issues since I would be considered an "expert" at many things, but I don't since I'm not much of a scumbag. The people who know whats going on ANY subject are NEVER the "experts". They are the people off to the sidelines you don't hear or know about typically.

organize it into meaningful chapters and put it in one place where people can find it. This save people a ton of time and makes it
easy for them to quickly learn about a subject they are interested in. After I do all of this, we have promotional periods where
we give the books away for free and they are also reasonably priced when we're not giving them away.

Ive been buying G&S for 10 years. I know enough to write the book for beginners. I can think whatever I want and I follow my standards.

The suggested resources in the book are the same exact resources I use to buy gold and silver. We create a mailing list to build a relationship
with our readers and update with tips, new books etc...

You do not know the info marketing price point model because there isn't one. It can be whatever you want it to be, minus Amazon's cut of course.

If you want to sell something its a good idea to establish yourself in a community. I'll give you some examples.

You should look into the work BrotherJohnF does (website (http://www.brotherjohnf.com/) / YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/user/BrotherJohnF).) He makes videos about Silver a lot an explains SOME things well to people who don't understand things (meaning he does some good things.) Another example would be Greg Mannarino (http://www.youtube.com/user/GregVegas5909) who already sells books (http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_0_9?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=greg+mannarino&sprefix=greg+mann%2Caps%2C284). Another example is "Silver Shied" (Chris Duane) who is a former member of our community who left to do his own thing (website (http://dont-tread-on.me) / YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/user/TruthNeverTold).) I'm posting these examples NOT since I agree with these people (I think they are all frauds and full of crap to different degrees), but since I believe they have a successful business model. Basically these people ESTABLISH themselves in the community and get a following. Then they ESTABLISH themselves as gurus based on the knowledge that's rubbed off on them (even though they don't know crap and get their information by lurking at forums like this one were the real info is discovered/developed/discussed.) I think they believe a lot of their own bullshit too so it makes them very convincing to a lot of people. I'm not trying to be negative, since they do good too, but people who get into leadership positions in ANY community typically are scumbags. That's why I like forum communities like this one since you don't find many scumbags here, just people who are self-made and self-educated.

Most people don't have the patience to become part of a forum community and contribute/absorb all the information and "culture" I guess you could say. Most people don't read anymore (I don't read books.) Most people watch YouTube videos these days, at least those who know how to use the Internet. A lot of these people want to be lead, and not think on their own (just like in real life!) They don't want to research these things for years and come to their own conclusions. I could write tons of books on many issues since I would be considered an "expert" at many things, but I don't since I'm not much of a scumbag. The people who know whats going on ANY subject are NEVER the "experts". They are the people off to the sidelines you don't hear or know about typically.

Before his Silver channel was popular he ran a Bitcoin channel. If you watch his videos all of his chart analysis was completely wrong. He has no clue what he's talking about. If you watched the price/action of Bitcoin and his "advice", basically he was saying what the opposite of what was true. When the Bitcoin price collapsed he abandoned the channel and all his advice and "keep stacking" attitude just disappeared overnight. I feel like the same bullshit is going on with Silver now. Basically he makes a lotta claims without serious research and when they are proven false he rarely addresses them and just acts like nothing was said.

I value your opinion on the subject because I know you stay on top of these things (youtube PM stuff). I don't disagree with you about BroJohn, I've watched a lot of his videos, and I generally like them, he seems like a nice guy but I've seen him been wrong just as much as right on his calls. That said though, with central bank interference in the markets I really don't see technical analysis being super worthwhile. As an example, they could announce some 5 trillion dollar stimulus tomorrow and a chart isn't going to tell you that. I buy when I have the $$ and think it's a good deal for me, but I don't really rely on the charts for one thing because I don't trade the physical market.

I make it well known that I don't trust jim sinclair, but I think dan norcini is one of the best at calling moves in the markets that I have found. Regardless though, in PM's I enjoy listening to people pontificate but I don't rely on their advice to trade.

I think folks would be shocked to discover what can be found out with simply an email addy and one other single bit of personal info (e.g. 'visits ***** forum' or 'has interests in PMs') considering the sophisticated data mining merging techniques/algorithms used currently.

Shit, I'm shocked at the amount of info telemarketers have on me when they call. A couple of days ago I got some junk mail which indicated at least three very divergent bits of info which had been merged - info I had DEFINITELY not given out to anyone.

ETA: consider all the data points (real or imagined) which could be 'filed away' for EVERYONE who posts on this forum

Sometime back, someone posted on this forum a very well written piece on how algos are created BY banks and credit card companies based upon the digitized grocery purchase items.
The conclusion of the story was also a shocker to the person being profiled. The author writing the piece told the young man of the story his wife was pregnant and probably due at xyz time, and he hadn't been told by her yet.

I think your assessment was dead on, midnight.
