Anyone have a portable shower? Does this seem good or do you know of a good one?

With normal dock power, I shower on the boat with a built in water heater. However, I have that same solar shower, that I used at anchor, off the grid, with out power to heat the water heater. The water got warm from the sun and it worked OK. My only critique, is that you turn the water on and off at the bag, not at the nozzle. This was a hassle to me. I would have enjoyed the solar camp shower experience much better, if I could turn the water on/off at the nozzle. Otherwise, it worked. It's ready to go if need be. We may all see a day, where a solar shower will be a modern comfort, to bring good cheer, to the folks who may be prepared for that day.

that style typically works fine, i have the same one for camping, but mine is black (captures the heat better). with only a 4 minute run time, you have to be quick and shut the valve off while lathering body and hair, otherwise a good buy for the buck...paid $10 for mine at the surplus store.

Not sure how portable you need it, but you can make something like that without trouble.

one way around this would be to install a hose shutoff clamp near the nozzle...

I used to camp 10 weeks a year and had all sorts of shower arrangements. I always went back to cup-dipping water out of a 2 1/2 gallon stock pot which I heated on a Coleman propane camp stove. This even works at home when you lose water pressure.
